Yea that's the only thing. I don't think it's performance related. I think it is a conflict of personalities with front office or coaches. You can't tell me he isn't at least good enough to play NB for the 1-7 Chiefs.

In the offseasom is when you build a team. Plus, we spent a high draft pick on a CB...may as well play him. Signing a legit #2 CB in the offseason and using that pick differently was the thing to do.

Somehow I think we'll be chasing a fix to losing Joseph for a long time.

and why would a high priced corner be cut midseason and want to play for a team that's out of it? usually these players tend to join contenders

I'd rather add players who can fix the actual problem areas on the team right now, not add for the sake of adding

This so not true hall is better in man coverage. Lets see here let tear a ligament off your knee you rehab in 6months And see if you are 100%. Only knock on hall is his coverage on 6'5" recievers and not because of skill set just gets out jumped.

I live in KC. I get the "pleasure" of having the Chiefs games on here every Sunday. Routt just got cut from a team that has been horrible all season. Easy to put 2 & 2 together here, if the debate is whether or not to sign him. Answer....no.

So he is worse than every corner on the Chiefs? It's not a cost saving move, so like I said there is more to it than play.

Exactly.

I saw the Thursday game and Travis Daniels, who spelled Javier Arenas in the nickel, got worked over and was flat out horrible at everything he did.

I have seen Routt play several times this year and teams picked on him, alot, but he is light years better than Travis Daniels.

I think the Chiefs are trying to light a fire and releasing Routt is supposed to be the spark.
