Default BengalYankee's "Congratulations to the Steelers"
Congratulations to the Steelers for beating my Bengals and my two home teams the Jets and the Giants.

Everyone knows I have a heart for Gotham's Dynamic Duo{Giants and Jets}. Squealers beat em fair and square.





The worst is that for the first time in 4 long years I will root against the Giants when they play the Bengals next week.

Last year I rooted for Miami to beat the Jets, so that the Bengals could make the playoffs. That hurt rooting for Miami.

Once I knew the Bengals backed into the playoffs last year while playing the Ravens. I rooted for the Ravens to beat the Bengals so that the Steelers would be a wild card and face Tebow in the wild card game instead of getting a bye sitting at home, during the first round of the playoffs last year.

Lol, wrong word for respecting the Jets/Giants. I like them and will 95% root for them, but I don't have Jets/Giants shirts, jackets, decals, fat head stickers, lol.

I know exactly where it is. One of my best friends lives in Hoboken. His drive to Metlife is the same as Eli's. I'm just saying, they seem to be the only teams that don't play in the same state as the city they are named after.

Huh?

What does all this have to do with the fact that the Giants play in New Jersey? Which is a different state than New York? That would be like the San Francisco 49ers playing their home games in Portland, Oregon. It's just weird, that's all.

Most self respecting fans do respect the Steelers. There is no shock there. They are one of the few teams in the NFL with a consistently good Football team, and one of the few teams worthy of a 'franchise' title.

You dodo bird. The Metlife stadium is just a few miles away from NYC. While the 49ers are hundreds of miles away from Portland, Oregon.

I used Dallas and Detroit because their stadiums are farther away from their respected cities then Metlife is from NYC.

NJ is a very long state and if the Jets/Giants played anywhere other then where they are playing now, most people would have a fit calling them New York.
