At least Bud Adams cares about the franchise he's running as yesterday he put his entire team on notice and told them their jobs are being closely evaluated over the remainder of the season. Essentially saying the status quo will no longer be tolerated on the Titans.

If Mike Brown gave a damn he'd do the same. Maybe a fire needs to be lit under this team to get them moving in the winning direction?

You will never hear such out of Mikeys mouth! The players are doing exactly what he wants. When they started the season 3-1, it must have scared him to death, thinking, "Oh my God, these guys are going to want more money, if they keep winning!" Nail on the head. Mike can't hold anyone accountable because he doesn't hold HIMSELF accountable. Same thing with Marvin Lewis. Thats why you saw so many reactions to ML calling out the team. Not only did he call out the team without holding himself accountable - he called them out something that is his own damn job.

ML is supposed to motivate and inspire. He is the one who is supposed to hold player's accountable. If he wants Dalton to go grab someone by the neck and yell at them - why doesn't he do it himself?

Instead of spreading out blame to the other 10 guys on a play that one player messed up - why doesn't he just call out the one player that messed up? Gruden does. He holds player's accountable.

I think giving up 28 points in less than 6 minutes in the 1st quarter had a lot to do with his outburst, the Bengals have lost their last 4 games by a combined 29 points, I'm not saying that's good out of the Bengals but it's not anything that stands out as opposed to the the rare embarrassment that was 28 points in 6 minutes in Nashville yesterday that stands out across the league

The team has a terrible record and is an embarrassment. So what does the guy do? He goes out there, calls out the people responsible for putting together such a sorry team, and lets them know that if they don't perform, they'll be replaced by someone who can.

Why can't we get this type of message out of Mike Brown? Marvin Lewis is in his 10th year with an overall losing record. The team is on a 4 game losing streak where they should have won at least 3. There are coaches under performing and players under performing.

I just want Mike Brown to acknowledge this, and promise the fans that he KNOWS this, and promise us some changes. Promise us a better future for the Bengals. I know the last thing this forum needs is another fist shaking, torch carrying type thread, but I saw this article and I thought how nice it would be if the fans could get some support and assurances, not "Man, they sure played tough out there tonight." or "There were some things we did well, some things we need to do better." kind of crap. Those are the things you say when you don't want to tell the truth.

I never wish anybody ill will but this can't happen soon enough. At least the family should have him declared unfit to continue to be the GM of this team.
