Are there Halo 4 lines?

Just wondering if anyone is headed for the midnight release for Halo 4 and how long of a wait there might be.

I'm not but my friend is going to GameStop for the midnight release. Probably a line anywhere you go.

I'm just wondering what the buzz for this game is like. For Halo 2, I remember the line stretching around the building and people showing up on a regular basis after the store opened.

The game looks promising, but I'll have to play it before I can judge it completely.

if you dont live in a HUGE city like New York or LA.. it should be okay.

I arrived 10 minutes before midnight and left 10 minutes after the store was packed but no one had to wait outside.

Halo 2 broke Media records with its release..... Sense CoD has the big releases. i think but last night there was over 500,000 people playing online multiplayer so thats not including anyone playing single player or the spartan ops. just matchmaking.


As for how the Game is. I would Say Its a more series feeling halo game. The grunts are no longer comic releaf The new enemies are nasty. (on legendary at least) and the levels are pretty big and amazing looking.

and im only just to level 4.

Its a little different. Dont let all the talk scare you its still pretty good.

The multiplayer reminds me of Halo 2 / Halo 3 with duel weilding.


But they have added things a whole new set of playlist for one.

You still have the spartan armor sets you had in REACH but you unlock them at certain ranks or after completing certain challenges. ( challenges are like the ribbions you earned in reach level 1 = 50 kills level 2 = xxx kills etc for all weapons enemies and game types)

The challenges have returned with a vengence instead of just 5 challenges each week we are getting like 2 campaign 3 spartan ops and 5 war games. and 1 weekly.

The Load outs are whats new (besides the mech which i havent gotten a chance to use yet but have killed several.) Basically. As you level up you unlock the ability to purchase weapons, Special Abilities (jet pack/ camo etc), Boost like unlimited sprint and other things. Gernades to make them available and you can choose between your presets or the 2 they offer per game. (so you can start with stickies instead of frags or a DMR instead of an assult rifle.)

Overall its pretty fun experience.

And dispite it not having firefight mode. Ive enjoyed it more than Reach so far.

Also if you have halo anniversary....


Play thru the game and locate all the terminals. Watch each video and copy down the 5 digit code at the end (pause and write down or take a picture lol)

Go to halo waypoint. I believe you press X to enter the code. this will unlock the videos in halo waypoint and after all 10 are unlocked you will get an awesome 11th video. (which kinda hints at a remake of HALO 2)
