The Bengals usually win one or two games that no one expects them to win. This could be one of those. That said, this game is a match up nightmare. Who will cover Nicks and Cruz? The reason the Cowboys dropped Newman was because he got torched by Cruz last year.
Martellus Bennett is having a good year and we struggle with good TEs. The Giants front 4 will likely give Dalton fits. Marvin Lewis is 6-2-1 against the NFC, but only 1-1 against the Giants. I do think we will keep it close, but our defense will fold when it counts: Giants- 27 Bengals- 21

Seasons Over.
Giants - 34 Bengals - 17 Eli will have a very easy day. Our DL can't do **** and our Defense as a whole just can't force turnovers. The Giant's DL will dominate our horrible OL. We'll run for 8 yards the entire game while giving up around 10 sacks. The only reason I said we'll score 17 is because I don't think the Giants have anyone who can cover AJ and then we'll score a TD in garbage time. But hey, 'they did some good things today and we'll just have to go practice harder'. Stop with the optimism guys...This team is no where close to the playoffs..about 3 drafts away and at that point AJ Green will have not been resigned. |

'Cause there's a lot of "...3-5..." threads this week? The tone on this board is bleak, lol.

Yeah, you're right that there seems to have been an infusion of reality on here lately, so maybe "threads" wasn't the right word for me to use. Let me say instead that there will still be plenty of "posts" echoing that sentiment, though.

If things are truly going to be different with this young team and in the future, the Bengals MUST win this game, and I really believe they will break through this week. The offense needs to play with the same since of urgency they played with once we got down 17-3, different year same stuff, conservative, non emotional, lack of urgency, until we are down, then we move it right down the field...score and once we regain the lead or it gets close, we fold. I think Dalton has a big game, as well as Green and Gresham.

Bengals - 45 Giants - 10 FYI this is my very last shred of optimism for this season.. |

Wow you guys are giving us too much credit. Have you seen the horrible play we've been showing lately? Eli has only thrown 1 TD in like the last 15 quarters. Our WR can't catch...Bradshaw gets stuff at the line and DD is a turnstile. I easily see us entering our bye 6-4. It's the frustration of being a giants fan...this team just never makes it easy on us. 23-13 Bengals

I think the Bengals get there first Pick 6 of the year this week....plus maybe a long return by tate...maybe a TD but he will probably get ran down at the 6.
I say Bengals win 30-27 Bengals turn the ball over late in the 4th quarter but Tynes misses a FG to send it in to overtime |

24-21 Bengals
There, I said it. Predicted a loss last week, so I'm not a homer. Giants are a very beatable team. Lost to the Steelers, barely beat the Redskins, lost to Philadelphia.... If we force some turnovers, and keep their defensive line off of Dalton, we win this game. |
