Not an athlete and not in high school, but I was in boot camp with a guy that was on American Idol. Drill Sergeants had a little fun with that.

I lived in NKY, so I knew several people that went to school with Shaun Alexander. My Dad actually hired his old fullback.

His signed pic hangs at the local watering hole.

Would he happen to live in Aurora now?

Has anyone ever heard of Jim and Pete Caldwell, they both played high school b-ball with me, they both went to Georgia Tech, and Jim went on to play forthe Ky. Colonels of the old A.B.A., and then a couple years with the Lakers....P.S. you have to be old.

Played against AJ Hawk from pee-wee and on. I suspect Nugent played soccer, but if he was on the football team I played against him too I guess.

My Dad went to high school with Brady Hoke.

I ran into Rob Dyrdek a few times at parties, when he was just a pro skater and not all over the place.

I went to high school with Tom Cruise. He was a year ahead of me and I didn't know him, but knew his younger sister well. I also played HS football against Carl Zander who played for the Bengals. I use the term 'played' lightly as I was 3rd string and rarely got off the bench.

I played against Anthony Munoz's son in junior high. So i got to meet the big guy because he was their coach. That's about all I remember.

Lana Del Rey went to my high school when I was younger (she went by "Lizzie" back then)... she must have been a senior when I was in 7th grade. And don't believe any of the crap about her being completely broke and living in a trailer park... her father is one of the wealthiest men in the Adirondacks.

My high school basketball team played against Jimmer Fredette in one of our tournaments... unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you look at it), I was sick with the flu for that tournament and missed the thrashing he put on our team.

If I was lying, I would have said I knew Donald Trump when I was growing up. It's hard to lie about knowing Bill Frist. Who the hell would claim to know Bill Frist unless they actually knew Bill Frist?

In 1990 I was able to play at Riverfront Stadium for pee wee football. The best part other than playing on the actual field was being able to use the Bengals locker room. I played for the Mason Comets and one of my coaches was Rick Rizzano. His son also played on my team as a RB. He was a free agent FB picked up by the Bucs until he popped positive for a banned substance.

Didn't any of you locals go to school with any of the Western Hills grads, there was some pretty well known dudes that went to school there, or maybe Carmen Electra, she went to school locally.

The Eagles, same here.

That would be me. But I'm not old enough to have gone to school with Pete, Don, Russ or Hacksaw.

Also, I went to college with Nick van Exel. Met him on campus, but never had any classes with him.
