Well it is pretty clear their secondary has holes. I dont think he is really stating anything shocking

I was wondering if we had another Chad getting teams mad before a game.This is about as mild as it gets far from a slam.

That was the most respectful thing he could say.

He could have said they have one of the most respected pass rushes in the league and we're going to have to work hard to beat them on Sunday. Never hurts to give your opponents some respect (especially when they're the defending Superbowl champs) and no good ever comes of criticizing them before the game. People wonder why our team doesn't get respect from the media (or at least perceive it that way) ... if it wasn't a Bengals player, what would you think of a player using the phrase "lot of holes" with respect to the defending Superbowl champs when his own team is 3-5 and riding a 4-game losing streak? Earlier in the interview, Green said that he though the Giants probably had one of the best front fours in the game.

“They only rush four. They rarely blitz and drop more people in coverage because of the pressure they get up front. We have to be solid up front and run the right routes,” Green said.

Unfortunately, no it doesn't. When you say your opponent has "a lot of holes" that's the only thing that's going to get reported to them.

Same as when earlier in the year Rey said that Trent Richardson hadn't done anything special in the first game. The fact that it was true statement and that Rey actually said some nice things about him too was irrelevant ... the "nothing special" part was the story and Richardson cut us up for 100+ yards in the game.

What he should have said is that this is a very good D when they set their minds to it and come to play.They have won 2 out of the last 4 SB's with a great pass rush but we're gonna go out there play hard and try to get a W.

I don't think it's the same as Rey at all. AJ plays at a very high level and therefore, has credibility. Rey doesn't. Big difference.
