OKAY--time for a happy medium.... Marvin and Mike have been responsible for drafting some very good players the past few years 100% correct. However the last 9 games of last year we were 3-6. This year so far we are 3-4 of course. So the last 16 games we have been 6-10. It is the coaches responsibility to coach and win games....the head coach will always take heat when this doesn't happen. That goes with ANY organization. Binns and Tate are terrible. I don't believe either of them are even capable of a hundred yard game. What frustrates many in here I think is these guys were talked up by the coaching staff in the beginning of the season. And as we're seeing now they shouldn't have been. Our pass defense is so bad it's not even funny. How can your defensive line be so good (backed up by statistics) and your pass defense be so bad(backed up by statistics). Yes--we drafted well but for some reason when the coaching staff gets some of these guys on the field right in front of them they blow it so bad that after releasing players they decide to resign guys like Crocker and half way through the season we're turning the wide receiver depth chart inside out. Oh yeah--we're just stacked at wide receiver. I will tell you now--Simpson and Caldwell blow away Tate and Binns hands down. Other teams picked up Caldwell and Simpson and they are playing. Tate and Binns were both released from other teams and quite honestly if it weren't for the Bengals I doubt they're playing in the league right now.

A Professional WR knows that when the Coverage reads one way the route changes to something else.

A Problem is when the QB and WR dont see the same thing. (like palmer and chad)

Ponder made a lot of bad choices last night and Simpson made a few good plays considering most the balls thrown to him could only be caught out of bounds.

As of right now, it's hard to make an argument that any of these guys are definitely better than Simpson. I hope you end up being right though. Also, you forgot the only WR on the roster that is definitely better than Simpson.

I was all for binns getting playing time this season.. But After 8 Games

I would even rank Purify above binns.

J Simpson is definately better than binns. And more usefule as a WR than Hawk.

Jones and Sanu i wont compare yet as they have very limit touches.
