First of all, MY TEAM - The Colts - won! The Dolphins were favored to win, but somehow the Colts pulled off the win.

Now, the other teams I respect:

Steelers beat the Giants with a gutty performance - even with refs trying to win it for the Giants. I'm not a great Giants fan and I'm glad they lost.

Buccaneers had a shootout with the Raiders but in the end, Pick 6 Palmer was his usual self and got picked off just as he was driving for the Raiders. Bucs outgun Raiders.

Broncos and Peyton had some trouble with the surprising Bengals, but in the end, Peyton was just too much for the Bengals defense. It's tough to win a game in which a team is fighting not only a talented opponent, but their head coach as well. Bengals really need to dump their head coach. He's terrible. Too many penalties cost the Bengals the game.

Anyway... I don't know about ya'll, but it was a great day for me!

What I want to know is... what's up with this Colts ******?

My father-in-law was from outside Indianapolis, and he was fairly normal... but this guy... his gloating over a mediocre team with a powderpuff schedule in the NFL's weakest division??? And his love for Jake Delhomme... it's pathetic. Sure, Delhomme played for a number of teams - but does his Jake-crush mean he has to slobber over every team with a .500+ record?

WHO (in their right mind) is a fan / respects 20+ teams?

Seriously, if I went on a NFC West forum, and obsessively pushed the Buffalo Bills down their throats... they would all unite under one banner - hate for me - and I would deserve their scorn. NO ONE HERE - Bengals, Steelers or Ravens fans - cares about the Colts, or the AFC South. He's been told 100+ times, that no one wants to hear him slobber, Delhomme-style...

But, sometimes, 13 year olds can't take a hint. Pathetic. Almost as pathetic as the Colts, throwing the '11 season to get goofy Luck.

Weakest division, huh? So... which division do the Houston Texans belong to? You "do" realize that the Texans are considered favorites to actually win the AFC Title and go to the Superbowl, right?

AFC South have 2 teams right now in playoff contention - Texans and Colts. They also have 2 teams which are flat out sorry - Titans and Jaguars.

AFC North have 2 teams right now in playoff contention - Steelers and Ravens. They also have 2 teams which are flat out sorry - Bengals and Browns.

I don't respect 20+ teams, I only respect 3 teams and I root for 1.

People here "do" care about the teams in the AFC South. If nothing more than there's a big chance they'll run into them during the playoffs. By the way, why do you care what others on this forum think? Are you the 2nd incarnation of Silence-Of-The-Wolves?

You're new here, so I'll fill you in.

The team I root for are The Colts.

The 3 teams I respect are: The Steelers, The Buccaneers, and The Broncos.

As for "why"... well, the Colts, it's obvious. The Steelers because they run a team like it should be run. Excellent ownership, competent coaching, good drafting, and they always make the best of the talent they have. Also, a killer defense. The Buccaneers because Tony Dungy developed the Tampa 2 defense there and took it to Indy. Also have family in the area and have always liked the Bucs. The Broncos because... well... Peyton plays there now.
