At this juncture in our fiasco I'd take just about anybody over Marvin. How Mike can't see it's time to move on is baffling !

I'm intrigued by his aggressiveness, but I think he may be TOO aggressive. Going for it on 4th down in our territory isn't something I'd like to see. Also, there's been quite a few college coaches who have failed. Spurrier and Saban to name a couple. Also, will a college coach get steamrolled by Mike Brown? I want a coach that stands up to Mike and wants power. All things considered, I think I'd pass on Kelly.

1. Fire Paul Alexander [ ] didn't happen
2. Let Maualuga go, move Burfict to MLB [ ] didn't happen
3. Sign a veteran WR [ ]
4. Draft a speed back high [ x ]
5. Draft a SS high [ x ]
6. Drop Lawson, draft a replacement [ x ]
7. Draft a center and let him battle with Cook & Robinson [ ]
8. Let Clements go [ x ]
9. Bring back Andre Smith [ x ]
10. Bring back MJ (as long as he doesn't demand elite money) [ x ]

These things need to happen to take the next step

Let's see what we do for the rest of the season. Marvin's time may well be up, but I still remember how bad this team used to be before he got here. He has, if nothing else, brought this team from the bowels of Hell to a more respectable mediocrity.

Big brass balls are better than no balls at all. I like a coach who is not afraid to step outside the old school book once in a while.

Don't get me wrong, he wouldn't be my last choice. I'd take him over any of our in house candidates. I'd just rather have an established NFL head coach.

I have a hard time seeing his offense succeeding in the NFL.

If he had RG3, Locker, or Newton as his QB it may work.

Come to think of it, the Titan would probably be a good fit for him...

With MB as owner we could dig up Vince Lombardi put him on the sideline and we would still underachive. Its hard to coach with your hands tied!!!

That's true when it comes to everything but game day. Marvin is consistently outcoached by the guys across from him. Vince Lombardi's ghost wouldn't be.

Somebody read an article recently about how he is going to change the way the game is played because he always goes for it on 4th down.
