RBs are, for the most part, a product of their Oline and offensive system that they play in.

All you need is some basic abilities. Like a little burst through the hole.

It's unfortunate that we got the one RB in the NFL that doesn't have that.

You take RBs in the 2nd round and down.
Like Lamar Miler in the 3rd round.
That would have been a good pick.

agree. Not a fan of 1st round RB's and did not want Martin in the first last year. In hindsight, yes, it appears that Martin would've been a good pick. However, It's impossible to know how effective Martin would be in this offense. Honestly, I think we're a good center away from being a team that can have a plug and play RB. But yeah, firm lacks any type of explosion. He's a workman like, plodding RB. Would really like to see Peerman get some more looks.

I liked Martin a lot and all you heard from the mass majority on this board was his numbers in college and who they played.

Im on board with most in that I hate first round RB's especially ones taken in the top half of the first round. But where TB got Martin, it's been a steal for them.
