I never understood why he was a 6th round pick in the first place. I mean, he's not the ideal size, but LaMichael James went in the 3rd, and Barner is a more prototypical back than him. Even before this game Barner was on a heisman tear. Doesn't make sense. He's a Day 2 pick for sure.

LaMichael actually went in the 2nd round. Barner will by the end of the season be viewed as a 2nd-3rd round pick most definitely.

And now it's 21-14. A&M has jumped out quickly against other teams this year only to blow it as the game goes on. They just can't maintain anything.

Still think Bama is one of the more overrated teams in recent memory. Still a damn good team, but people talking them up like they're the best team we've ever seen.

I think Oregon is the team to beat right now. Unstoppable offense.

The last two times Oregon played an SEC team, the entire talk around the game was that the SEC team couldn't keep up with their offense. There is a big differnece between the front 7's at the top of the SEC and the Pac-12.

Yeah, the whole Alabama defense looked out of sync tonight. CJ Mosley was the only guy playing well.

-Lester looks like a mid-round pick in my opinion. Missed several tackles that led to big plays, and is VERY slow to react to the pass. Don't want him.

-Milliner got beat a few times tonight. Definitely not the shutdown corner I thought he was, but still a first rounder.

-I like Ryan Swope a lot. I think we have a similar player in Ryan Whelan if Jay ever decides to let him play.

Interesting. Whether it's true or not, NFL teams won't like that he called out his coach. Should have stuck it out and just declared for the draft. Now he might be a late round pick.

Yes, but Texas A&M just shat all over Bama's secondary.

The SEC (while still far and away the best overall conference) would likely get ***** slapped by Oregon this season.

Bama - has shown it can get exposed by passing teams
LSU - Has offense issues and isn't as good in defense as Bama
Flordia - great defense, absolutely abysmal offense
Georgia - Honestly a wild card, they have a very talented defense, Aaron Murray is just far too inconsistent. They could easily beat Bama in the SEC title game, and just as easily get absolutely blown out depending on what Murray does (I predict he chokes).

I just hope Notre Dame doesn't make it to the BCS title game (not that I think they will beat USC).

I think A&M has a much better O-line and D than Oregon though. Not that it matters now, but I think that Bama might match up better against Oregon than they did A&M.

K-State and Oregon will probably both win out keeping ND out of the title game.

Oregon would lose up front.
Alabama wins by winning the war in the trenches.
They went up against a top 5 OL in the nation and it showed.
The secondary has been overrated this season because of the sheer dominance up front.

I think Alabama could beat Oregon because the front 7 is so strong at Alabama and Oregon's isn't.
I think UGA and LSU make it close regardless of who wins.

It's unfortunate Bama lost, I think Oregon could of spread out Bama and really taken advantage.
