Default Official Giants @ Bengals Game Day Thread

It's an NFC East @ AFC North matchup as the Bengals host the defending Super Bowl Champion Giants. Post all thoughts on the game here.

Just arrived at the Westin. Room is not ready yet. Dammit. I need a room key to pee in the lobby bathroom.

We play the NFC well.

It'll be a game. Not going to say we will definitely win, but we'll battle.

Final score:
24-21 Giants.

But with their penchant for giving up big passing plays, Green could win this game single handedly.

Speaking of big passing plays, I wonder how well the Cincinnati secondary will be able to handle Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks?

This secondary is so bad Archie Manning could come back from retirement and ring up 400 yards passing.

Eli will definitely snap his streak of 3 games with less than 200yards passing. I'm thinking he gets 350+ today with at least 2tds.

I think the Bengals could sneak this one. Not sure why, I just feel they will put together a good performance.

There are lots of reasons for this to be an upset for the Bengals (home game, they're sick of losing, Giants taking them too lightly, want to salvage their season, history on their side when the Giants play in Cinti).

The game will be on local LA tv, and it will be much more fun to watch an upset than the 35-3 or 31-10 scores some of you are predicting.

This is still a very good team. If every player plays just a bit better than they have the last few weeks, this can be won.

The Bengals need more of:

Peerman
Sanu
Adam Jones (PR)
Devon Still (at either end spot)
Pat Sims
Orson Charles (in addition to, but not replacing Gresh)
Andy on bootlegs
Screen plays

The Bengals need less of:

Binns/Tate at WR
Conservative play calling on both sides of the ball
BJGE and ONLY BJGE, rotate him with Peerman and Leonard

Win this game and they can go on a huge roll. Lose this game and it is "welcome to the 2013 NFL Draft Forum"

I have the Sun Ticket but I was surprised to see the Bengals game shown locally for the second week in a row...although I know it is because of the Mannings not the Bengals.

If Ryan Whalen gets 10 or more receptions we will win this one.

Why run it out 5+ yards deep? Getting Green involved early. 2 first downs.
