News is pat sims is making a return ....I hope he can help ....Before he got hurt last year we where the number 4 defense .....After he got hurt we couldnt stop anything on defense ....I think hes the push we are missing up the middle .....I know we aint gonna get run on when hes in there ......I guess we will just have to wait and see ....Call me crazy but i think we have a shot at beating the gaints today

We haven't gotten run ont his year aside from 2 games.

Sims is poor.

Sims seems to be one of those players who, while they don't post the most impressive stats themselves seem to bring out a higher level of play in their teammates.

thats kinda hard because snee plays right guard and he was lining up on the left side .....but when he came free and had the pic he lined up on the right

Um, the left side of the line goes up against the right side of the dline.

lol, as I said, I saw him get demolished twice by a poor guard.

He had 2 impact plays, that's it.

Funnily enough that, as was mentioned by JL here, our D plays better with him dressed.

On the INT, he was being owned by a guard. He had as much penetration as a midget with Paris Hilton.

He was just in the right place at the right time. I'm g;ad he was. That was a big INT.

Was phanominal today don't let PFF boy get you down. If there isn't agreement from that site on a player he Saids they are bad. Which is odd because he gushes all over Rey m. Who never looks good except a couple games this year.

Not only in the right place at the right time... but actually caught the dang thing.

Kinda funny a D line man can get a pick when some of our DBs and LBs can't seem to hang on to them.

I think having him back and having the D-line rotation back like it was last year will really help this team the rest of the way. It's not a coincidence that when we get a good D-line man back that was part of the D-line rotation from last year we have a great day on D and come away with a win. Keeping the line fresh and getting the right mix of run/pass defenders on the right plays pays dividends. This D-line was good before and with Pat back it can be like it was last year.

Every person on the team is there to do their job (man I hate quoting Marvin) but it's true and today showed that. It's simple get

1. Pressure on the QB and good things will happen
2. Take out the run game and force them to go over the top.
3. Please see number 1.

The game isn't hard to understand and today Marvin took a page out of good ol' Chip Kelly's book and went for it on 4th more than I've ever seen.

Today was a good day because everyone played well. Had little or nothing to do with Sims.
He was alright. And made a good play on the INT.

Dunlap decided to play today. That was huge.
