Matt Cassel sukks. Chiefs still should've won this game.

With refs help- 16-13 OT win

without refs help- 17-10 chiefs win.

Officiating or not, Kansas City should have still won even in spite of that but you cant be missing Field Goals inside of 40 yards or toss picks inside your own 20, this was as self inflicted as it gets

Amazing the phantom holding call on the screen pass for a TD yet the Steelers got away with murder all game. I could not believe the amount of holding that was not called against the Steelers. Absolutely mind blowing.

The missed FG wouldn't have happened if not for the phantom holding call. The int in OT wouldn't have happened either. This should've been a 17-10 Chiefs win. No doubt. Trent Dilfer and Jon Gruden agree with me.

I can see the Dolphins losing 4 more and finishing 6-9.

If we finish 10-6, I'd say you're spot on. We'd make it into the playoffs. But that would mean winning out against the AFC West and the NFC East and splitting with Ravens and Steelers. Losing two more games probably knocks us out of it.

I thought it should have been 24-10 in that scenario, Leftwichs's release was the same as Ben's fumble last week except they noticed it this time so it could have been a selective call

the only way the Bengals would make it tied with anyone would be if they beat San Diego, but San Diego may be too far out of it having to play Denver, Baltimore, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh in the next 4 weeks

so realistically if the Bengals were to make it, they'd have to have a record where they were tied with nobody, they will not make it tied with the Colts

If they are going to lose any more games and have a shot at it then the losses need to be to the NFC teams. They need every single AFC game they can get.

Well the Steelers won tonight, so they're 2 games ahead of us now. I see them winning at least 9 games and they hold the tiebreakers over us due to division and conference record.
The Colts only have to go 3-4 down the stretch to finish 9-7, and they hold conference tiebreakers over us as well. I could see us winning 4 more games, maybe 5 if we're lucky. Basically, we would have to play lights out and hope the Colts fall apart.

Edit: I wasn't considering the fact that we have 5 AFC games left. If we can take all 3 non-divisional AFC games and split with Baltimore and Pitt, we should have a shot. If we do this, we could afford a loss to either Dallas or Philly.

you forgot about the severity of Ben's shoulder

if it's a worst case scenario that's helpful to the Bengals still having a head to head left with them as well and if tonight was any indication without him, Baltimore is enough trouble for them as it is, Cleveland could be dangerous as well

The Steelers are what... 6-3 now? Even with Ben out, I think they are capable of winning 3 more games. Especially with help from the refs. They went 3-1 without Ben a couple years ago.

they just played a 1 win team and their Leftwich was as molasses throwing it as he was before, the Chiefs lost because of their calling card and are of course the worst in the league with turnovers, it wouldnt take much less to beat the Steelers looking like that

This will be a close one seeing how close KC was able to keep it with Pittsburgh. They have a decent defense, and the combination of Charles/Hillis backfield kinda scares me a little. We have to get penetration on the oline and stay in Cassels face the whole game.
