I would agree, but they've done that in the past.

Another instance of something like Sunday was the Denver game last year; he did the SAME thing, if not better, and he got graded NEGATIVELY.

Khaled, the guru of analysis on the site did this game, so I feel that he's distorting his grading model for some reason; I cannot see it being any other reason.

The Nuge' thing really has me shaking my head though...

Let him return punts full time and take a few snaps at corner. Dre Kirk and Allen (I think) are getting healthy, so we shouldn't need Pac at corner so much. If you have a Dante Hall type returner, you use him. Getting a long return changes the game.

Interesting that Clements rated out as a +1.7,however.

That's the issue with PFF. Those guys are fans that are watching game tape and basically guessing at who's suppossed to do what,then doing subjective ratings based off of that. I would also suspect that a lot of their numbers are fudged. With the extremely limited number of people that they have doing their numbers,I highly doubt that they are watching every single play 22 times to key on every single player on the field to give a true +/- on every play. They probably watch it once or twice,and mark the players that stand out the most,either good or bad.

Even still, you get a much better insight into the game that usual sites do not. Besides, you have to actually watch and make judgements for yourself. What PFF says is not absolute (for instance, Andy being the 25th ranked QB in the league) it's simply how their system works.

Not saying you don't watch and make judgements by any means, but I've seen some people really get fired up and saying PFF is stupid/worthless because of what they "say". They aren't "saying" anything, they're displaying their grades.

They use all-22 film as of this year, not game tape.

The more I see their "grades" the less they mean to me. Its fun putting something like a number that everyone can understand on a players performance. But they definitely don't have all the answers like I once thought.

Something doesn't add up there. I know he's thrown 11 picks, but NINE QBs have thrown at least 10, so it's not like Andy is the only QB throwing picks.

I never said the system was perfect, but all of those are stats from espn.com / nfl.com . PFF is a completely different system as like I mentioned before, grades individual play on every play and how it effects the game.

I just don't think it's "incredibly flawed". If you want stats not based on PFF's system, then look no further and head over to espn.com / nfl.com
