Injury problems for Lattimore. Hip injuries are never a good thing for any position. Not sure how severe it is or even how long he has had it. But I could see it killing his stock if he doesn't shake it.

With the knee and hip there is no way I would invest a first round selection in him.

Randle. We don't have to waste a 1st round pick on him, and he really doesn't have a lot of flaws to him. All around above average RB. Let's hope the Raiders keep sucking so we get him at 33. If not him I could see Ball from Mich. St.

Not sure where to start.

Ugh well first of all Randle is a mid second round to third round guy in my books. Wouldn't take him at 33 if that's where we are.

Bell's stock is plummeting. I'm actually liking the idea of converting him to FB, but I wouldn't take him uhhhh before round 4 or 5? at this moment in time.

Plus something tells me Lattimore will fall into the second round now and no one goes in the first round this draft, but things are ever changing so well see by years end.

At this point I wouldnt touch Lattimore.
And I could see someone reaching or trading into the late first for a RB like this year.

I mean I've bumped him out of the first round and I have a huge man crush on him. I'd take him with one of the second rounders at this point in time.

He is too injury prone at this point. The knee and now his hip.
I'll pass for right now. I stopped buying him as a first rounder awhile ago before the hip problem. IMO to be a first round RB you have to exceptional at something or multiple things. He just is good at a few things.

I think he's pretty good at anything minus being a burner myself.

I wonder if Kenjon Barner shoots up draft boards. I honestly thought before we'd be lucky if he was there in the fourth. Now I can see him as a third round guy (not that I'd take him there).

Bumping this thread because it seems many are finally getting on the Giovanni bandwagon.

His knee has to be as stable as jello coming off that injury.. Dude is toast, and will be lucky to be taken in round 6.

Its all about Gio... Dude is standing out as the best all around 3 down running back.

Could not agree more. Funny you go into the thread in JN about Ellis being a Bengal next season and there are many talking how this draft class devoid of talent. Personally I feel their are several guys in this class that are going to be impact three down guys.

Showed his versatility with the TD catch, but really did not look like a workhorse type back.
He's a good player, but he didn't stand out as the best running back in the country. Definitely had an off night.
On his behalf, thought he was underused some though, to get full judgement.

Just draft a quick change of pace back - i personally like the Oregon running back Kenjon Barner in our late second round pick. We do not need a slow running back who can't break a run of more than 10+ yards we have that in BJG but he is solid for the 3rd and 1 plays

Montee Ball tearing up Ohio State. 85 yards in 1 and a half quaters against 8 man fronts. Good vision, burst and power.

**edit** gorgeous touchdown run against 8 man front.

Does not compute.

For bfine:
‏@JoshNorris
Christine Michael threw a punch and was ejected from the game earlier.

Well let's see if he can keep it up. One of the big problems for Ball has always been his struggles when the line isn't mauling up front.

I've not been as down on Ball as most this year, if dude can run closs to a 4.5 I'd be on board

Shame about Michael, it may be time to let him go. However, another similar type back that I've mentioned in other threads, but has not been mentioned in this thread is Cierre Wood. Dude has had a carry of at least 15 yards in every game but 1 this year.

EDIT: Franklin is looking like the real deal against USC.

Franklin rips off a good run and immediately does something stupid.
Get that in check.

Ball is an idiot.
Why the hell would you jump with the ball out? You have to protect the ball. Got greedy going for a record.
