Another blow out win by the Bengals. Even though it was against the Chiefs it's nice to see us win games we're supposed to win in dominate fashion. Oddly since we played so well it seems there's not much to talk about lol. What did you take away from this game? Personally I love the aggressiveness i'm seeing from the coaching staff. Kudos to Marvin and the coaching staff for the 4th down aggressiveness and the execution by the players. Also it's looking as if Sanu will stick as the secondary receiver. Can't wait until Marvin Jones get's healthy and more snaps because I feel he can bring even more dimension to the offense.

This team is just now hitting it's stride.
The team we have watched the past two weeks is the team we expected to see on opening night.

Dalton with no interceptions...2 games in a row. Turnovers are how you lose to bad teams Luke the Browns. Great sign going forward!
Peerman needs more snaps. |

Great Win today.
Things I observed. Burfict is always around the ball, and has a motor that dosent stop. Rey will have a tough time getting an extension in the offseason. AJ Green makes this offense explosive, nothing new to report here, just stating the obvious. The O line gets alot more credit from actual football minded people, rather than the people on this board. The do a good job proctecting Andy and opening holes. Dre needs more reps, he's got to stick his reciever better. Props to the excellent special teams play tho. Sanu should take every snap as the slot reciever, the guy just makes plays. Somewhere Marvin grew a set, finally. Hanging christmas lights blows, getting back to them now. ![]() |

Indeed. We really should be 7-3 or 8-2. Hopefully they can rattle off a bunch of wins in a row!

The rushing game is the missing link to becoming elite. The Chiefs D is good so that was an accomplishment today.

Geno Atkins domination.

When this team has a solid run game.....this team is good.
Leon Hall is starting to play at an elite level. Geno Atkins is the best DT in the NFL. AJ Green is the 2nd best WR in the NFL behind Calvin. Our offensive line is starting to play well. Get Gresham involved in the passing game early and he will stay engaged and flourish the rest of the game. I just call it like i see it.

I love that we didn't play down to our competition like we're used to (would be pretty hard to do considering the Chiefs are pretty damn bad).

I think we went a little to conservative in the second half again.
We should never let up. BJGE is still not the answer at RB. He had a good game, when the O line was opening huge holes. I would give Peerman more snapes. Sanu is a good possession WR, and will be solid for this team for years. I liked the move on the TD catch, he had the CB going the wrong way from the opening. He is a TJ with more skill and a little more speed, but not as quick. Quickness can be developed with a proper offseason workout program. I can not wait to see Marvin Jones, AJ, and Sanu on the field at the same time. Any TE, or RB should be wide open.

4th down and WTF – ever!! We're going for it!
3 for 3 on 4th downs today? That's just ridiculous. That had to tear the hearts out of the Chiefs. But the Chiefs did NOT beat themselves with turnovers today. They had one fumble, right? No INTs? They've been blown out plenty of times this season, but they always had loads of turnovers. Game ball goes to the defense, IMHO. ![]() |

Most impressive thing to me was that they beat down the Chiefs on the road a week after beating down the SB champs at home. Most if not all Bengal teams in the past would have laid an egg today after a big win the prior week.

Was at the game today. It was hard to believe it was Arrowhead. I have never heard it so quiet in that stadium in all the years I've attended games there. Zero 12th man effect.
The Chiefs are horrible-no emotion, no energy. In person it was obvious even to the Chiefs fans. Not sure how it appeared on TV. Gresham was a beast after the catch. Sanu-great move to the inside on the TD catch. O-Line was solid. Green was doubled and even tripled on occasion-that is what opened the run game up. The Chiefs were so worried abour Green it kept them from sneaking the SS up to play the run. O-Line did decent in run blocking. Dalton played a smart game-didn't force throws. Ultimate takeaway for my boys-a NFL football (gloves and wristbands) with about half the Bengals autographs on it. ![]()

Penalties killed two drives or it could have been 42-6, easy.

Gresham is stronger than a frickin rhino, takes at least 5 players to take him down. the dude showed some major determination on a few plays, especially on the almost-TD.
O-Line gave Dalton lots of time. Very good. Dalton had AJ almost-wide open a few times but overthrew him, not so nice. Dont remember if they were scoring drives, but the final score mightve been even bigger if he made those. (duh) Other than that, good game. I thought the secondary had some solid tackles for little to no gain plenty of times, just like last week against the Giants. Felt like Quinn had some good completions targeting Kirkpatrick, but thats just a good thing in a game like this, he needs game practice. Good overall job. A. Jones should take every punt, and thats almost purely from an entertainment standpoint, seeing him back there makes me think something magical can happen, thats not the case with Tate. Hope they keep the ball rolling heading into next weeks game. Raiders, Chargers, Cowboys and Eagles, none of them look like very good teams for the time being. So thats a good thing. |

1.) The Chiefs are sorry-stating the obvious.
2.) Our Lbs are slow and nonathletic- we need more speed out there! 3.)The Bengals are a more Mature team then previous Bengal teams. They have learned there lesson from the Browns Dolphins game and are taking these teams seriously. 4.) Gresham- played awesome today felt like he played like a man possessed. |

Two wins in a row should bring some confidence. But, the Chiefs should not be confused with a good team. Oakland isn't going to roll over the ways the Chiefs did.

To those saying the Chiefs are just not a good team, well that is true. But what is also true is that this is the NFL, and on any given Sunday a stinky team can bring it all together to beat a team with a better record. Jags almost and probably should have beat the Texans today for crying out loud, and they are just as bad as the Chiefs.

We got that because we just happened to meet his older brother in the stands (good dude). He went down after the game to make sure his brother not only signed the football but posed for the pic. My boys enjoyed the whole experience. Zim even came over before the game to sign their hats
