I saw Dalton making some ???? throws today, but the kid can certainly throw a laser when he wants to

How about the perfectly placed pass to Green when the 15 yarder got tacked on

It helps that they ran the ball very well today. Nice balance in the offense today.

He still needs to stop putting so much air on his deep passes but his short and intermediate passing is great. If he can stop over throwing or floating the deep balls he will be a very complete QB.

He is getting better my only criticism is he takes off running too soon. He feels pressure that isn't there stand tall in the pocket and go through all the progressions.

If he is really finally seeing the game in real time, then that is scary.
Because he has been a top 15 QB already. If the light is finally going on, then he will be a top 5 QB. I think having a dependable TE, and another WR not called AJ Green has helped. Sanu is a possession slot WR, but is better than anyone else Dalton has had so far. I can't wait till we have AJ Green, Marvin Jones, Sanu, and Gresham all on the field at the same time. Teams already have to double, or triple Green. Jones will develop into a WR that demands double teams. Sanu will be a great possession WR who makes the catch and get the first down. Gresham has finally started waking up, and wanting the ball, and running over people when he get the ball. I think this passing offense is on the edge of exploding and becoming a real threat, at any time. If we can get an explosive RB to go with this passing offense, and our solid D, this team is a real contender to win it all.

Here's what I like about Andy Dalton: He had four less than average games in a row but he kept working and kept studying -- and it paid off. Over the last two weeks Andy has thrown some quality passes and I don't want to hear any more smack about his supposed lack of arm strength. He zipped passes into double and triple coverage against the Giants and Chiefs.

If he starts hitting those deep passes with more consistency, he'll be mentioned with Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. We're already talking about a guy who's on pace for 4000+ yards and 32 tds. Plus he's cutting down the picks.

Yea, I think his deep ball is and may be the only issue he still faces. He had quite a few deep balls today with Green. Some looked pretty damn good, others not so much. Green tore up the secondary vs KC and could have put up big time numbers had a few of those deep balls were placed perfectly. This is defintley something that will improve as time goes by. Dalton improves every week. Looking forward to years of success!
