I handled Joe J because our D was decent and we did have Leon. If we try to play Geno on the contract and we end up losing him, I may go head and not watch many games next season.

Carlos's production, and injury history I think has lowered what his realistic asking price can be IMO. I was scard that we'd have to give Geno and Carlos both crazy deals but now Carlos has fallen off and with his being injured every other game we MAY get out cheap on him...."you know MB will try so unless he really likes his life here were probably lose him, because I trust MB cashes out for Geno

Aj is far and away the best WR ever to don stripes and Geno far and away the best DT.

Crumrie was amazing but he did not disrupt things liek Geno and did not have his sack totals - which are off the charts for a DT.

AJ is just a freak. I would not trade him for megatron or anyone else. You are watching greatness and he is just going to get better. A faster version of Jerry Rice.

So happy team has shown their potential.

This was a year before their very first game. What were you watching them do? Negotiate the terms of their entrance into the AFL?

As for Green and Atkins, I believe you're dead on. Not only are they the best that have played for this team at their respective positions, but I also believe that they're some of the best in the league at the moment. Atkins is a top 5 D-Lineman, and the best Interior Lineman in the game. Green is the #1 receiver.....I don't even want to hear about Calvin Johnson.

Atkins is what Ndumakong Suh is supposed to be! I dont remember a Bengals defensive player that has caused as much havoc as this man.

He is a good player but do not forget about Michael Johnson 1 sack behind Geno at 7 and he plays hard.

Huge difference in talent disparity and one is a DE and one is a DT. One SHOULD have that many sacks and the other shouldn't.
A DT with the penetration Geno gets and the sack numbers is amazing.
A DE with the performance and sack numbers of MJ is....not amazing.

1) The origins of the WCO originated under Paul Brown and then 'perfected' under Bill Walsh to lead San Fran to dynasty status. As stated... PB chose Tiger Johnson over Bill Walsh.

2) The zone-blitz scheme had its origins in Cincy under **** Lebeau and 'perfected' it in Pitt after MB let him go.

3) While we're at it... MB chose Marvin over Coughlin. 2 Lombardis - 0 playoff wins.

So we passed on the greatest offensive & defensive minds of this generation + a coach that knows how to win in the playoffs... isn't 'What if' fun???

I love AJ, what he's doing is amazing but I'm not ready to say he's better than Chad after 1 and a half seasons, as reluctant as I am to say it, I think he will be better than Chad, and possibly even break all of his records(if he stays long enough). Like I said, I think he will be better, but he's not better yet.

Yes he is. He does things in his second year Chad couldn't do most of his career.
He is better and will continue to get better.
