He actually would be a good fit. The way Ben extends plays, he's a big target to find. Especially in the red zone.

Never been a Plaxico fan. Hopefully there for depth and working for ammo.

Yeah I forgot about Cotchery getting hurt. Well I guess we need someone and he was productive. I guess we will see.

Some might speculate that in light of all the injuries, the Steelers decided it was time to bring in a hired gun.

Good thing we already played all of the new York teams. He may not be permitted in the state.

Nah, the Steelers need another weapon.

You could never have too many weapons.

Except in a nightclub in New York.

Nothing wrong with aiming high, or shooting for the stars. However, in Plax' mind, playing against AFC corners is like shooting fish in a barrel.

It's a shot in the dark, but he may have an explosive impact and add some more firepower to that offense.

...and throw in something about using the pistol formation....

Of course Ben will be gunning for him from the shotgun, he should be careful as someone like Ed Reed may be coming in for the kill shot.

When contacted by the media to see if he would be interested, Plaxico responded "I'll give it my best shot!" Seemed like a high caliber response to me.

I'm all for signing any player that will make an impact on the field and not be injured in sweat pants on the sidelines.
