Unless the cities of Cincinnati and Philadelphia somehow shift to within 75 miles of one another, you're safe.

Of course if that shift does take place, we'll all probably be worrying about something a little more significant than footbal.

I was merely pointing out that if for some strange, tectonic plate related reason, Cincy and Philly were to shift closer together, there probably wouldn't be any kind of TV signal to broadcast.

And Whodey23 does 5000'ish mean it's not on?. Is the game gonna be blacked out? Do we know yet? I don't know how it works. Does literally EVERY ticket have to be sold? I just need to know, because if it's gonna be blacked out, I'll have to go get a Hotel room with DirecTV Saturday, and Sunday ticket, down in The Ville. Or my buddy, Go Cards could invite me, do you have Sunday ticket buddy?

There have been several cases this season of blacked out games being unavailable for Direct TV package subscribers, even out of market. In one case, it was because it was a blowout and the national feed changed to a different game; the specific channel for that game reported that 'local broadcast and blacked out games are unavailable due to NFL rules'.

You would think that you could watch any out-or-market game you wanted with the Sunday Ticket package, but I have heard folks complain on a few forums about the feed being unavailable for some out of market games.

Well, I get that part. I live well within the blackout zone, but my DirecTV comes from Louisville. Which is out of the zone. But when it's blacked out, they won't send it to me. One week, it was on Louisville's CBS channel, but blacked out, same channel, on Sunday Ticket.

So we know for sure the games not going to sell out?

This is what happened to me late in the Giant game. The local coverage switched to another game, and at that point I was locked out from Directv and the local broadcast. I do not recall this happening in the past.

Wherever your box is supposed to be located, if the game is carried by a local network, then the game can and often is NOT available on DTV. Often Buffalo games aren't on DTV up here because you're supposed to be able to get those on your local feed, no doubt some kind of agreement between the networks and DTV and/or the FCC.

I will PAY someone if they would just answer my question. I don't understand the blackout rules. Could anyone tell me if this game is going to be blacked out? I will pay for an answer, I've asked 5 times. Some plans might hinge on it.

If it is blacked out, you will not get it on Sunday Ticket if you live in the blackout zone
