When we get up a few scores, start the chants of "you're a quitter" and things like that.

Carson did us dirty but we came out ahead, even before we prison raped the Raiders with that trade.

Actually, instead of the "you're a quitter" chant, we should wait til the game is out-of-hand and chant "you're a nobody."

He's not worth the energy until we have the game in hand, and then you're damn skippy we just ridicule him, but not even hate because we gotta show a bit of class since he didn't.

I have seen every Bengal QB since Anderson, and Palmer was the best of them all. I will never root against him, except when he is either playing us, or an Oakland loss helps us.

You really can't say Palmer was the best Bengals QB of all-time based on one season. Had Palmer played his whole career at that 2005 level, then sure. But look at how he played in 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Sorry, not better than Kenny. People are stuck in 2005. There were times that Carson played like garbage.

I put cheer but as it was the positive option, but i will not be cheering for palmer. I will however applaud when he comes out for the first time and then root for him to throw many picks.

I hope he doesn't try to use that underdog "they didn't think I was good anymore " angle. Because everyone here still thought he was a great QB when he quit on us, that's why we were so angry he quit. He's not coming here a respected figure who just didn't work out....he's coming back here as a quitter and a symbol of everything wrong with Cincy. I don't expect our players to have that ill will to him like we do but I want to see alot of blitzes aimed at taking his head off

Shake; we have had some some really gifted guys play the position.
Athletically, Klingler was the the best.
Technically, Anderson.
Leadership, Esiason.
Smartest and the best pure passer, Palmer. He learned Brat's system in one year and executed it to perfection in his second starting season.
In my opinion, he was the best QB of the bunch. Injuries to him and his O-line destroyed what could have been something special here.

Lot of Carson talk in the threads...
I'd like to throw out some more theoretical Carson talk into the mix.

Let me first start by making this clear, I think will be able to pull this game out, mostly because I went on record as saying we would.
At the same time let me also state a QB vs a well known defense isnt easy to compete against.

What you will hear about (not see because of the black out) is that Carson will make our defense look almost as confused mess as Week 1.
Although week 1 was more of a catastrophy then a mess.
Believe it or not, it's a coaches league and Carson knows Zimmer's schemes well.

I believe our run game will be shut down, and it will be quite the shoot out.
(Disclaimer: I based this off of **** poor fantasy stat research :( where it looked like only Willis McGehee of DEN took the best game. The rest of the RBs looked like they were shut down.)
I'll call this one 34-27 Bengals... I don't even know how those numbers add up.

As Marc Amazon said tonight, Carson Palmer never embraced Cincinnati. He openly dissed OSU, made it well known he was still a Cali boy, lived there in the offseason, did his training there etc. He hated it here. I don't think his demand was about Mike or Marv. Otherwise, he would've just stayed retired rather than play for another disfunctional franchise like the Raiders.

He and his wife just wanted to be in Cali. He purchased a huge piece of land in Del Mar in 2009. They're building their dream home and probably wanted to be closer to it and it's construction. Carson made his choice, so I have no problem if fans boo him this Sunday. If I make it down, I'll probably boo him too.
