If Andy can continue his no interception streak, WE could pull out a close one. It's great that he's started to spread the ball around. Palmer makes me a little nervous because he's returning with a chip on his shoulder, and may be more amp'd up than Andy. The great thing is Andy doesn't look to him as a mentor like Rogers did, when Farve returned to Green Bay. Hopefully there's a different ending Farve won that first encounter. Palmer's like the exhusband who walked out on his kids and decided to visit. Many of those kid's (fans&team mates) felt let down. Now their all grown up and still ****'d at dear old Dad. A few sacks should send the message. GO! Bengals!

Well, first of all, let's win the game and not get too much focus on a bunch of personal stuff.

I think the classiest way to handle it, is to make sure we play one helluva game and beat them. Then at the end, we could simply chant:

ANDY! ANDY! ANDY! Never happened here for Carson.

And by the way, if you want to give Carson the last laugh, just let him torpedo our drive for the playoffs. Focus on a win, not Carson.

If you're in the military you also know that you're a S-bag if you B and moan and quit. His contract wasn't up....he cried and he quit. We drafted him, he's the one that signed his newest contract, he should've lived that contract out at least then shot us the deuces.

In my opinion, he was the best QB of the bunch. Injuries to him and his O-line destroyed what could have been something special here.

You lost me at Klingler. Blake was easily the most athletically gifted QB we've had. Also, when analyzing QBs from different eras, you have to compare them to their competition. Ken Anderson and Boomer had top 5 QB ratings far more often than Palmer. Look it up. Also, if Palmer knew Brat's offense inside and out, why did he have to check his wristband/cheat sheet more often than any QB I've seen?

As in laughing at the guy for getting what he ultimately wanted, and still ending up in a worse situation than the one he so desparately wanted out of.

As for my personal reaction to him leading his new team into town against the Bengals, I'll neither cheer nor boo. However, I am counting on Geno Atkins and co. to give him a very warm PBS welcome back to the Jungle.

I voted cheer, and I will tell you why. While Carson did the fans wrong, he also did the fans a favor by standing up to Mike Brown. Carson was a great QB when he was here (a few up and down seasons post injury). The one thing he did do by demanding a trade was alter the way the FO handles things. Before the Carson situation Mike Brown and CO. did things differently than they do now. It seems as though the slap in the face the Golden Boy delivered was enough to wake them up. While I wanted him to remain a Bengal I can completely understand his position and want to get out. I for one thank him for what he did, it seems to have forced changes in the way this team is run.

Carson lovers VS Carson haters will be out in force this weekend...and if you attend the game, the best action might wind up being in the parking lot. Regardless of how you feel about Carson, it should be interesting. For me, Its a little like Bendedict Arnold showing up on a prized white horse in a clean British unform and thinking everything is A O.K. Yes..he took a lot of crap...but seriously, who doesnt take crap at their jobs....yet continue to show up faithfully the next Monday with a smile? Palmer was the most hailed of all the QBs we ever had. Denying that removes intellect from this conversation. He was the 'phenom'. The Golden Boy. Hell, even after a significant arm injury he still has one of the best cannons in Football. I blame the fans ultimately for what happened. I mean, they boo'd him when he surpassed his 20k yard milestone. WHY!? That's ridiculous! He will get boo'd again, unfortunately. If I was there, I'd cheer for him. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Carson. Because for the longest time, we lost the meaning of 'winning'....and because of Carson, we got it back. People lose sight of that.
