Just thought this recent comment from PFT would be a good start:

Raiders at Bengals

MDS’s take: The Raiders look like they’re ready to give up on the season, and the Bengals look like they’re ready to go on a run. This one won’t be close.

MDS’s pick: Bengals 34, Raiders 10.

Florio’s take: Carson Palmer returns to Cincinnati, with a team far worse than the one for which he notoriously refused to keep playing. He’ll tell himself he doesn’t feel regret. And if he tells himself enough, maybe he’ll believe it.

Andy Dalton's 2012 int %: 3.20

Carson Palmer's career int %: 3.21

The season Andy is having is better than anything Palmer did outside of 2005. I predict Dalton throws at least 3 touchdowns, Palmer throws 2 picks and the Bengals roll.

Like the score prediction as that's what I am going with but you have to be kidding about the Carson cheer thing right?..... Sorry but fans should not cheer on the raiders period!!Carson is not retired nor did he win cincinnati a Super Bowl. The fans and city owes Carson nothing just as Carson owes us. As stated previously, the Cincinnati Bengals will win against the Kansas City Chiefs (accomplished) and against the Oakland Raiders.

I am now in Winnipeg preparing to head to enemy territory to view the game Sunday at my best friend's house (a Raider fan since the late 70's).

Also in my stated prediction, the Cincinnati Bengals will lose aginst San Diego, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia (a game I will attend) and Baltimore. The Cincinnati Bengals will finish the 2012 National Football League schedule at 6-10.

What's funny is the Raiders were doing really well last year then Campbell went down and they traded for Palmer. Then, McFadden got injured too and that team hasn't been the same ever since.

So the Raiders went from possibly making noise in the playoffs to a bottom dweller.

You seriously think the Bengals will lose all momentum and drop 5 straight games? Even the NFC east games (where Marvin has a 7-2-1 record)?

I doubt any QB could have went in under the circumstances and been successful. However, the issues Palmer had as a QB here were not just going to go away. His ability to look really good one moment and then turnaround and throw a wtf interception the next still persists. He developed a very bad habit of predetermining who to throw to and secondaries in the NFL pick this up easily by watching film. I wouldn't call his receivers game changing and his defense is absolutely horrible.

We shut down Marcel Reece and we basically take away the guy Palmer has been using pretty consistently lately out of the backfield.

Rey Malaluga on Reece is the only thing that bothers me about this game. Malaluga plays decent enough on run plays (as long as its not misdirection), but is totally incompetent in pass coverage. Any chance of Thomas Howard playing this year?

This one worries me. This happened earlier in the season as well. We had some convincing wins after a bad loss and came out flat against teams we should beat.

On paper we have this one. If the Dline continues to put themselves in the face of the opposing QB we should be okay. The one thing we know in Cincinnati is Palmer is easily rattled by pressure and makes very arrant throws.

The raiders Defense is horrid and has given up 100+ points in 3 games.

Prediction has the Raiders high because I am worried how we come out on defense. If we come out guns blazing like the last two weeks.
