Default Jordan Shipley to Jaguars

Via Adam Shefter

Jaguars signed wide receiver Jordan Shipley and waived fullback Will Ta’ufo’ou.

amazing in the off season how some thought Shipley was gonna be one of those players
that we couldn't afford to cut.
as it turned out,he's been gathering some serious miles gets looks from NFL teams desperate for
depth at WR.
funny how things change in 4 months

If he continues to make progress, teams will keep checking, cuz if healthy, the kid is a baller.

The Shipley of that pair, may well be a great pickup for them. He was still raw from injuty when Tampa picked him up. I know it is a crowded house, but I would have liked to have seen him stay and recover on this team, even if it meant a Binns, Tate or whoever had to be cut.

Same here, I like Shipley. I guess the thing is he doesnt have the best injury record and he could be Jerry Rice, there's no point if they dont see the field or is blighted by knee injury.

Plus Hawkins is coming along pretty great. But if he can stay fit, Shipley's a good pickup for them. As for Jordan Palmer... I remember when people were saying he'd be a good fit at QB after Carson refused to play . Im glad that never got put into practice.

Creative title.

These pickups smell of influence from Bratkowski.

It is nice for the Bengals to now be one of the teams that provides castoffs for lesser teams to pick up.

Should HAVE CUT TATE!!! Shipley was WAY WAY WAY more of a football player than Tate could ever be!

He is, NOW. But he wasn't completely healthy in training camp. Thus, the Bengals chose to keep Andrew Hawkins over him. Win.

Shipley was too hurt-Tate never should never have been kept in the first place-do you have other options?

Hawkins > Ship. I wish him well in Jax though. Hopefully it works out for him, he does know the offense.
