Never a fan of trading out of the first round. And we don't have a LOT of needs. We need a SS, OLB, and RB. I'd also like another CB and some overall depth.

Binns hasn't done a thing in weeks and was inactive today. Tate does return kicks but not hardly anything else.Bailey is an upgrade over both.

Sanu, Love the guy seems to be a TD machine but do you believe he has the speed to fill our #2 spot? I think he is the perfect guy for us in the slot.

Hawkins, Well he isn't very consistent but is great for splash plays, I think he needs to be used in a limited role and not counted on full time in the slot.

Marvin Jones, Has done nothing but does have some promise but Id like to see more before I write off WR as a need.

Tate, Binns and Whalen are clearly not our answer at any of the WR spots.

If a guy falls to us and is the BPA I would have no problem drafting a WR, Green - Sanu - and a guy with legit speed and skills on the other side would be great for this Offense, all while bring in Hawkins and Jones when needed.

I wanted Brian Quick in last years draft because he was a guy with a high ceiling that just needed time to develop.... I am sticking with that this year.

I don't think a first round receiver is necessary.

Depending on how Jones does through the course of the week, we may have 4 strong receivers.

There are much bigger needs, like LB, safety and possibly even CB if Newman, Allen and Pacman are gone at the end of the year.

Barner feels like too much of a scat back. I don't know if the Bengals should/could wait for a 3rd down RB.

I agree I was never in the 1st round WR group, 2nd if someone falls and is the BPA if not then wait til 3 or later.

1st off I NEVER said draft a WR in the 1st, but if someone like Stedman Bailey is there in the 4th it's a no brainer.

Others I like are Dri Archer(if he comes out), Quinton Patton,Markus Wheaton,Chris Harper,Cody Hoffman(if he comes out).

I really, really like this. Especially the positions addressed in the slots allocated.

Some may scoff at drafting 2 offensive players first, but I could really get excited about adding a legit WR2 and an all-around RB early.

If Mike Williams, TE from Alabama was available in the 6th, I would grab him in a heart beat. I would also like to see a RT2 put somewhere in the mix as well.

Barner averaged 20 carries a game this year, I think he's proven he can carry his share of the load. He's the same size as Chris Johnson and has 4.3 speed. It's something we are missing.

I have a feeling it's going to come down to taking Barner or Franklin and I like Barner a little better because him being more of a homerun threat than Franklin.

I'd say trading back to pick up DeAndre Hopkins + an extra 3rd rounder is an exciting move. Considering that, isn't Ellington + Franklin a little overkill?
Franklin would be plenty of RB in an offense that features our current weapons and Hopkins, unless you believe that Franklin isn't a 3-down back.

Isaiah Pead was a fast guy that had a lot of carries. Pead didn't translate to the NFL.

I like Barner as a CoP RB, but I am uncertain as an every down RB.
