Having said that, the 3rd quarter nap we seem to have almost every game is becoming a little annoying now.

I love it. Our O line blocked pretty well, especially in the running game.

Carson has a horrible team, the first pass attempt he had Atkins was in his face within one second. On the Dunlap sack I believe it was, the tackle didn't even move when the ball was snapped. I saw Carson just look at his line like wth was that?

That nap is Marvin Lewis interfering with the OC, on play calling.

It suxs. I take a more Sam Wyche approach, never take your foot off the gas. These are professional teams, and any of them can come back on you, if you give them a chance.

You are not the only one.

He has had rookie growing pains, but he is as solid as Cook right now, and will be a better OC in the future.

We have our OC, RG, LG, RT, and LT till Whitworth decides to retire.

We have built a solid O line, and a almost great D line. That is why the Bengals are winning more. It all begins in the trenches.

Add a few play makers and you have a playoff team, that has a sluggers shot.

Wouldn't say he is as good as Cook yet, however the fact that he has never played Center before is very impressive.

Here's a little cold water - 1st and goal inside the 1 and cannot get the TD.......
This worries me. It shows we have trouble running when opponent is expecting the run - this is also critical in closing out a game. Still some work to do.

But that said, I'll agree that this group is definatly improving, and if they stay healthy have a chance to be very good. But they are not there yet.

D-line has really picked up it's intensity lately. Geno looks to be an every year ProBowl player. Getting Sims back has helped the DT rotation.

Cook seldom gets to the second level and makes a block. This kid is getting to the second level and dominating LBs.

Robinson is not as strong as he should be, but he is a rookie. He will build up his strength this off season, and will be better than Cook ever was. Give this kid a chance, and we have an O line, that is All-Pro Quality across the board.

Whitworth is All-Pro Quality, and has been for years.

Boling is playing All-Pro Quality at LG, and he is a 2nd year player. It takes O linemen a couple of years to fully develop. He will be the best RG/pulling Guard the Bengals ever had.

Robinson, is a undrafted rookie. He is almost playing at Birk's level right now. Given time to develop and he will be the best C in the AFCN, next year. He is quick and can move for an C, and even pull. When this kid adds the strength need over the next year, or two, he will be great. There is something about this kids play, he will be a Jeff Saturday type of C, with even better run blocking skills.

Zeitler is showing why he was a 1st round pick. He had a few rookie growing pains, but he is becoming a All-Pro quality RG. He will improve over the next three years, into a dominate player. I expect Zeitler to surpass Bobbie Williams, and Max Montoya as the Best RG this team has ever had.

Andre Smith is, and has been one of the best RT last year, and this year. We need to tie him up for the long term. He is becoming a Big Willie type play and will just get beter and beter over the next few years.

This O line has the ability to be the best O line the Bengals have ever had. I know that is a tall order, but these guys have the skills, and are coming together into that kind of an O line.

P.S. Putting Cook back in as the starter doesn't help this O line, it will hurt the overall development.

I wonder if it is the talent, rather than the coach, because this coach has failed with other high draft picks.

How many years has he coached here? How long since we have been able to run the ball well, without an extra O lineman?

We can go around and around on this coach. I don't think it is him. I think it is the players he has now, most importantly Whitworth teaching the newer guys how to be a professional O lineman.
