Umm no. Cowher's final season was 06. Mendenhall was drafted in 08. Tomlin has been in charge Mendenhall's entire career.

EDIT:

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin made it clear after the game Saturday that Mendenhall's ball security would be addressed. And he seemed to be in favor of the way his teammates were getting their message across.

Did you hear them say that Tomlin considered Mendenhall to have the best talent out of all the running backs? I think he needs too look more closely at the game films.

Well yesterday should have opened his eyes. I am not even talking about the fumbles, I think Dwyer has earned the starting spot at this point Mendy has to earn it back.

2008 was Mendenhall's rookie season...he was drafted in 2005 but only got to play a coupel of times...
