Default Walter Football mock 11/27/12

This should make some of you very happy.

1. Sam Montgomery, DE, LSU
2. Giovani Bernard, RB, UNC
2. Shayne Skov, MLB, Stanford
3. Bacarri Rambo, S, Georgia

All of that happened on three consecutive possession, a 10-minute fusillade of fail that turned a one-possession game into a blowout loss...

Finally, one that I can accept.

I not against a DE in 1, but man...I'd like to fill up a LB spot with top talent, re-sign MJ, and pick up a second/third round DE as rotational backup.

That said, I wouldn't be against Montgomery. I'd love to see that rotation! Just seems like a luxury given two of our LBs are underperforming FA's and the 3rd is out of position.

Walter's hitting all out needs this year though. In year's past he's been a bit off.

-I don't like Montomery. Werner is better imo.

-Giovani Berard has some moves and would be my second choice at RB if we can't get Andre Ellington.

-I like Shayne Skov, but it's up in the air between him and Gerald Hodges with me.

-Not a huge fan of Rambo. I really like Dj Swearinger.

Werner will be gone by time we pick.

Bernard is heads and shoulders above Ellington.

Hodges may be a better pick if Skov doesn't rebound from his injury 100%.

Rambo is a playmaker, which we need at the safety position.

Response in bold.

They have Werner going 4th overall to Cleveland.

Since the OP didn't

http://walterfootball.com/draft2013.php

Really only complaint I would have is taking Skov over Khaseem Greene, but that's just personal preference.

Actually, they have Monti Te'o going 4th overall to Cleveland.
The Titans take Werner at 10.
But still, the point remains!

I made a train wreck of this thread.

I was looking at drafttek's mock when I made the reply. There Werner is 4th to Cleveland.

Walter has Montgomery listed at 6'4" and 245 lbs.

Is anyone concerned about a 245 lb DE in the AFCN?

He would be going up against OTs that weigh 90 lbs more than him!

He would need to add 10% more body weight to get to 270 lbs.

are you sure you (or they might) do not have him and Mingo confused?
Mingo is around 6-4 245.
Montgomery is more like 6-5 265
