This was the worst performance I have seen from the steelers in a long long time.
Kudos to the defense to keep the totally inept offensive performance a chance to win.
Wallace and Mendy need to be gone, and we need another QB that is younger for a backup.

Keep your heads up, Steeler fans. Your team will bounce back, the good ones always do. Just because your offense is impotent, and you just lost to the Browns is no reason to get depressed.

Whats funny to me is how you railed on palmer for years, yet you thought he was good enough to shred the bengals? You make zero sense. BTW, hate to spoil the surprise here but carson did nothing against the bengals today. Just in case you werent privvy to that info yet

1.) we murdered the Chiefs while they took you into overtime.
2.) we stomped Oakland into the dirt. you lost to them.
3.) we both split with Cleveland.

the parallel is that the hurr durr steelers > bengals smack is steadily becoming hollow. while every other team (including yours) is getting ravaged by injuries, we're coming back from them, and putting notches in the W column.

are we going to knock you guys out of the WC? I dunno. still a lot of football to play.

but you're stupid if you're not worried. though I guess what I initially quoted was just butthurt and not really worth responding to in the first place

I'm worried that we might not get Ben back quick enough to earn a WC spot. I'm not worried that with a healthy Ben you guys are a better team than us. Your first point is asinine, the A beat B, B beat C therefore A would beat C arguments are moronic and we've smashed them down repeatedly in the past. I'm honestly surprised that anyone is foolish enough to still make that argument.

There is speculation Ben could go next week. They said his arm is out of the sling and he can move it without any pain.

Well, that ought to get you guys through the 1st quarter, or at least until he takes a good hit. You know the Ravens are going to get to the QB........then what?

He may go next week, and his arm is out of the sling, but he's suppossed to start throwing early this week to see if he can go or not. I believe it's been said that his pain tolerance and range of motion will determine if he can go or not.

It's not really a good situation, either way. You don't want to rush him back against the Ravens, because he will get hit and the Ravens' D is tough to go against when you're 100%,let alone hurt. At the same time, the Steelers have to stop the bleeding and put a run together, and they aren't going to do that without Ben starting.

There must be no doubt in your mind we'll beat those turds in the final game.

We better start winning some of divisional games or we are not going to get even a wild card. 1-2 in the division so far is not a good place to be.

He isn't exactly young, as far as NFL careers go. But the Bengals boss, Mike Brown, felt that holding him hostage was a better business move. Palmer clearly wasn't happy in Cincinnati and I'm willing to bet that he had made his unhappiness known to both Mike Brown and Marvin Lewis well before he "quit".

I wouldn't be surprised if Palmer has a record breaking day and passes for something like 500 yds and 6 TD's. He's THAT motivated!

If he does that, the Bengals season is pretty much over!
Too bad, you know, Palmer *****. Maybe this could have happened if he were traded to the Raiders, and it was 2005.

I'm sure.

The Colts are 1 game ahead of the Bengals in the Wild Card race.

They'll get in the playoffs. I'm not so sure about the Bengals, though.

You sound awfully sure for a team that still has to play the Texans twice. I doubt the Colts could even beat the Texans' backups if they rest players. Not to mention that they will get upset by one of the other 3 teams that they play.

Colts will lose to the Texans twice and the Bengals should win all of their games except the finale with the Ravens. Either way, neither team will beat New England or Denver.
