Sanu had a solid game: 5 catches 29 yds and 2 TDs

I know his Yds weren't huge but the dude caught 2 TDs! I figured he would get a bit more love

He did make the top 10 plays of week 12 and was number 1 on the best 5 shots of week 12 as well.


And though it means nothing was also picked up on my fantasy team just because of his past 3 games...

29 yards does not qualify for a ROTW, let's not be homers. 2 touchdowns is nice, but they were short yardage, even though 1 of them was a great catch.

6-5 record + small market = little interest from the national media.

If this team was 10-1 right now, Cris Carter would be bending over backwards to kiss AJ's butt. Sanu would have more hype. Fact is, we're only 6-5 and that's not enough to make people outside of Cincy care about the Bengals. Can't say I blame them either. It's not like they haven't seen the Bengals being mediocre before. If we want recognition, we have to take it.

100%. I guess people want to be associated with winners, as if THEY accomplished anything simply by being a "fan." So, having "their team" acknowledged in the media is like THEM being acknowledged by the media. They can't rest content with just following the team for the sake of the fun of it.

Personally, I think the media is largely comprised of idiots. I don't want the idiots to say a thing about the Bengals. If they do, I certainly won't pay any attention to it. They're idiots. It always amazes me how people who used to play football can say such idiotic things about the game. I guess it's because they're paid to be entertainers, to attract an audience that the network can sell to advertisers (other corporations) and make money. It's not about being objective analysts of the game.

Stupid stuff attracts stupid people and there's alot of them out there. That's how media make their money. The national media doesn't market anything to smart people. There's not enough of them. It wouldn't be that profitable. That's why Tony Saragusa is so perfect for them. He's probably the biggest idiot of them all, and he's outrageously popular. Maybe not among those of us here, but we're Bengals-nerds.

I'm grateful that I have to watch 99% of Bengals games at BW3s with no volume on the TV. I don't have to listen to the morons jabbering nonsense between plays. Especially if the moron in question is Steve Tasker.

According to PFF they both ****** this week lol. Or at least Burfict did. The media guys will see the two TD's but he'd have to put up closer to 100 yards along with it to get serious consideration for rookie of the week. We are a few wins away from the media being forced to highlight us more.
