MJ is Raising keep MJ..

Why was he released? Injured or Scapegoat? if hes so good why would a 3-8 team let him go?

In this case, yea, it might be a good move. I doubt he makes it to us on the wire though.

We are not going after Babin. Not a very 'Bengal' move. People expect this organization to make splashes, but they forget, we have never been that way.

Exactly. No reason to really change that now.

Normally, I'd shoot this kind of talk down, but you can never have enough pass rushers.

What it comes down to is Babin or Gilberry...

I love what Gilberry has done this season but Babin would be the clear choice between the two.

We can afford Gilberry with Dunlap MJ and Geno can we afford Babin with that mix?

5 games left in the season and we want to give away 1.64 million. I'm all for adding good players but that seems like a stretch.

That is the question no doubt and i doubt we jump on this one.

Might not be a bad idea though to keep him from the Ravens.

Then there is not much of a reason for us to go after him. Gilberry has been more than sufficient for us as a backup.

How many sacks do we have on the year now? 38 or so?

I read that wrong...I thought you asked how many Gilberry had on the season...and then suggested 38. I was like, I'm not sure what you're on...hahahaa.

So wait until free agency when someone better is available or replace him in the draft. I'm just not seeing the reason to sign a 32 year old cast off who has had 2 good season and a lot more mediocre ones.

Our D-line is not broken and does not need fixing.

Unless there is an injury, we shouldn't take the chance of disrupting a very good unit.

Besides, who would be released?

Have you seen how we typically approach free agency? I have no faith we would find a better replacement than Babin on the open market.

Also, I'd rather save draft picks than use them to (hopefully, if it works out) replace players we let go.
