We are not going after Babin. Not a very 'Bengal' move. People expect this organization to make splashes, but they forget, we have never been that way.

What it comes down to is Babin or Gilberry...

I love what Gilberry has done this season but Babin would be the clear choice between the two.

Then there is not much of a reason for us to go after him. Gilberry has been more than sufficient for us as a backup.

Our D-line is not broken and does not need fixing.

Unless there is an injury, we shouldn't take the chance of disrupting a very good unit.

Have you seen how we typically approach free agency? I have no faith we would find a better replacement than Babin on the open market.

Also, I'd rather save draft picks than use them to (hopefully, if it works out) replace players we let go.

I saw 35, but we're still second only to the Broncos
