Now that Rey has been made captain, I doubt we do much to change that. Lewis would look terrible if he gives Rey the C, and then signs McClain at the first chance he gets.

Interesting, but I think that his abilities are in doubt, because he hasn't produced anything in Seattle and in Oakland. Now it is his knees that are not 100%. Anyways, a good move

I'm glad you agree.

Babin will never have another year like last year.

I'm kinda torn on this one.
I wouldn't mind him, but not for the money he's currently getting paid.

We're probably going to start seeing alot more of these types of cuts in the next few weeks as teams unload salaries from the Pre-CBA Rookie Salary cap age.

08 McFadden (one decent year 0 healthy ones)
07 Jamarcus Russell
06 Michael Huff Mediocre Safety/Corner
05 Fabian Washington
04 Robert Gallery
03 Nmandi (Ironically the lowest pick on this list!)
02 Phillip Buchanon/Napoleon Harris
Well, that at least partially explains why they're 48-107 (.310) since that 2002 superbowl season.

Getting rid of Jon Gruden certainly didn't help.

I have no problem bringing him in assuming he stops randomly discharging a fire arm in public. I remember him dominating at Alabama and being everywhere. If I remember correctly he called all the plays for that defense. He obviously has all the physical tools to succeed so his lapses must be mental. That's coachable. I would actually be more interested in him. as a SAM than a MLB right now.

We asked him about the time he fumbled without being hit and the time he threw an interception without being pressured and the other pick he threw -- under pressure but stupidly off his back foot toward double coverage. All of that happened on three consecutive possession, a 10-minute fusillade of fail that turned a one-possession game into a blowout loss...

McClain has been arrested and sentenced to jail time...

Not the type of guy that a young team needs. The shortcut method to talent acquisition didn't work for years.

You guys are right. Sorry for not being on top of it.

I guess Skuta is the backup MIKE.

V-Rey has always played WILL from what i have seen and Lamur has been taking those
snaps away from him lately. I like what i have seen from Lamur BTW.

Lamur has been very good... We are starting to find these very good undrafted guys... (something teams like pittsburgh have excelled at for a long time)

Not sure what story is worse today, McClain's or Titus Young's. Want no part of McClain. McClain pistol whipped and then discharged the firearm next to a guys head. He's a ricochet away from spending 20 years in the joint but some of you would welcome him on the team?
