I've split some groups up as requested in the past. Added class ranks.
the tiers for RB aren't about rankings overall but rather what I think they are capable of. Tier 1 - Guys who could be 3 down NFL backs if they meet potential. Tier 2 - Guys who are probably going to be splitting carries more often than not but could carry the load if they needed but wouldn't be the best for them. Tier 3 - Short yardage guys who will get more carries than they probably should. Going forward I will start looking into injury histories and character concerns and indicating them in my next one. I toyed around with it this time to see how it looks/goes over. So I haven't done too much research yet. So here is the obvious key: = character concern = Injury history = Considered a leader or of good characterAs always, remind me if I forgot someone. And state your case on where they should be. Running Backs: Tier 1
Inside Linebackers:
Outside Linebackers:
Defensive Ends
Nose Tackles:
Safeties:
Offensive Tackles:
Interior Linemen:

If we don't resign Andre I could see us drafting someone like Fisher in the 1st Rd. |

You could have just said that without quoting the whole post.

I'd rather have Lester/Rambo over him any day of the week.

Re: Rankings
Wow, great work Berserker. ![]() First day this year i have really looked at the draft for next year. Lots of good RB's, SS's and LB'ers in this draft which is exactly what we need for the future. Early thoughts but i wouldn't mind this from what you say here in the first 3 rounds......... 1st - CJ Mosley OLB 2nd - Dion Jordan DE I think we get another 2nd rounder for Palmer.......... 2nd - Kenny Veccarro SS 3rd - Dennis Johnson RB Like i said it is early and i could be way off though.

Randle is criminally overrated right now. He is all speed.

While his play does lend itself to being compared to Mays at times, he is producing at a top school and deserves some credit for that even though I have my own issues with him.

We either need a solid tackler or a playmaker. Elam has proved to be neither.

I did. We just see the RB class very differently.

Randle probably has one of the best cut back moves of all the backs, he's a strong runner that also has the best blocking skills of the bunch. They have lined him on the wing and the slot because of his height at times. He had almost 50 catches last year. Believe me he is not overrated.

Looked real good the one game i saw him in. I need to start doing my own research instead of relying on some of my buddies opinions. It is so damn early though i wasn't even thinking about the draft yet.

Im in the Randle should be Tier 1 RB group, I think Gio is 1, then for me Randle is 2 and Lacy is probably 3 in the rankings, not sure how a few of those guys can be considered Tier 1 then you leave out Randle.
On a side note I gotta look up your rank 1 RB, this Tier 1 guy sounds interesting. ![]() |
