foot injuries are never good. Best case scenario week 15 at Steelers. worst case scenario IR done for the year. hope im wrong. you never see someone return quickly with a foot injury.

Im sure no one is trying to get hurt especially a young stud that finally shining. But you gotta practice like you play. (or you dont play) Full Speed. injuries happen and we the fans the players or the coaches cant be worried about it every second of every practice. or else we would have 53 grown men running around in bubble wrap inside plastic tackle bubbles. and they would be too timid to play this game.

Anybody know anything specific like when he hurt it did he come out immediately or was he able to practice on it and the pain got too severe? If its the 2nd option its a good sign and we could have him back by week 16 possibly sooner definitely by playoffs even if severe. If its the 1st scenario hes less than 50 to be back by superbowl. and we would probably IR him anyway.

Like I said in another thread you never see a Bengal down on the field for very long, Coaches obviously have them well conditioned by beating the hell out of them in practice. ![]() Hoping Sanu's injury isn't serious...

Word is Marvin Jones (he needs a nickname can't just call him Marvin, Jones, or MJ) is having about 25-30 family members at the game. Be a great time for a coming out party.

Joe Reedy @joereedy WR Mohamed Sanu shows up on the injury report as limited with a foot injury. Will be seen by team's medical staff in the morning
Limited makes me think it's less severe. |

Re: Sanu hurt in practice
Unfortunately, you sort of have to practice. Heck if their practices reduce anymore then they won't see a field until game day.

Im a little concerned about receiver. Dalton is playing well though should make whoever lines up opposite AJ look good regardless. Only thing concerning is tate doesnt run the proper route all the time. Havent seen enough if mj to know if hes capable and binns tires quickly and hawkins is purely a slot and an extremely short 1 at that. whalen is a question mark at best. It may force us to be creative and run more 2 tightend sets like the Pats until Sanu recovers.

I say give Marvin Jones a shot out wide if Sanu can't go Sunday. Move the receivers around. Not for Tate getting much playing time though, from what i have seen of the WR's he brings the least of any of them. Tate's route running seems suspect.

Thing I like about binns is he will fight for the ball in traffic like sanu. He just shows fatigue alot quicker. I haven really seen mj fight for it in traffic just yet. though if hes 100 percent definitely more of a vertical threat.

I am hoping Mo can go but I wouldn't want to rush him back and end up losing him for the Dallas game were he will be needed. It would be nice to see Mo, Jones, and Hawkins all contributing till the end though. Also Gresham is going to need to step up big time.

Yeah, and Binns has shown good after the catch ability. Still for giving Marvin Jones some more snaps. Dalton missed him on one play that could have been huge last week. I just don't want to see Tate out there. Hawk is a gamechanger and Whalen is atleast reliable when he gets a chance.
