Keeping 7 WRs this year seems like a better and better idea. Hopefully he isn't out for too long.
Hmm. If we were really desperate, I wonder if Shipley is more healed up than at the beginning of the year when he got cut by us and then Tampa Bay.

Not to be negative nancy, but being a life long Bengals fan I know where this is going. Poor Mo he was on the brink. Sounds like how Garcon maybe was too.... Time for Marvin Jones to step up.

So will Binns, that's what got him hurt in Jacksonville game.

Hopefully they don't screw around starting Tate or Binns. Put Jones in and see what happens. If nothing else I'm sure he can manage a few catches like the other two. |

If Sanu's injury is serious, then hopefully we see Marvin Jones step up and live up to the hype we've placed on him.

I'm going to supporting bringing back 2010 TO as the #2 WR until one of these "young studs" we keep getting finally outplays him!

Until I hear otherwise, I am going to think Sanu is playing on Sunday. If he doesn't go - Marvin Jones gets to have his shot.

Marvin Jones is a different kind of receiver. Not as physical as Sanu, but more explosive. We may be surprised if Sanu can't go that we may still not miss a beat and actually become more explosive. Will miss Sanu in the red zone though.....

What I'm really trying to say is..
I dropped Young Baby Hawk and picked up Sanu yesterday in Fantasy.. I've had Hawk all season, but he's been out. |

Re: Sanu hurt in practice
Face in palm....
Whalen cannot develop separation from defenders, which is why he does NOT start at slot, Sanu can and is a much better redzone threat than Whalen is. Marvin Jones is the fastest receiver on the team, but lacks the redzone threat as well. Hawkins has the quickest moves of any WR, and is a better redzone presence than Jones or Whalen, but lacks the physical qualities of Sanu. Sanu has been discussed as a "poor practice" type player, but shows to step-it-up several notches come game-day...no surprise to any college football fan, since that was his MO during his time at Rutgers. Looking at things "realistically", losing Sanu for ANY length of time HURTS the Bengal offense. |

Watch some football.Furthermore, Hawkins isn't any more "present," than MJ (who is hands down better in the red zone) or any other receiver. You need tall guys for the red zone, not 5'7 guys. Learn football.

Sanu and Hawkins are best in that position...plain and simple. I like Whalen...I am realistic about his limitations. |
