The lost career of Jordan Shipley.

I realized today that if Blackmon and Shorts can't go Jordan Shipley may finally have a chance to start for an nfl team again.

What happened to such a promising career. I know roster depth and his knee not being a 100% lost him his spot on this team but to not stick with Tampa or Jacksonville. What has happened to such a promising young Bengals talent.

I was really hoping to watch him blow up again after being cut but he just hasn't been seen since. It is sad to see him relegated to a back up after the great season he had for us.

Sadly I think he injury just blew out his quickness, which was one of, if not his best traits.

If Adrian Peterson can come back from having his knee completely shredded, I think Shipley should bounce back fine. He should be able to catch on in Jacksonville due to them having no talent at WR. I really had hoped he would catch on in Tampa and work out of the slot for Vjax.

He got hurt over a year ago he's still young, his career isn't over yet. He set himself back when he came back too early. It's waaaaay too soon to be putting up a post like this.

but busting both the ACL and MCL for a WR whos best trait was his change of direction could take a while to recover from and by time hes back to himself the league might have past him by

if hes healthy i have no problem bringing him into camp to compete for a spot. no problem at all...

Adrian Peterson is not a fair comparison to any man. The guy isn't human. Here's a quote from the surgeon that repaired his knee: (mind you this is his 6th season in the NFL)

"For this guy to have played as much football as he's played his whole life, and not to have hardly any wear and tear, it's incredible. I've never seen a football player, especially one who runs and cuts as much as he does, with a knee in that condition. It's like a newborn baby."

Your right but he has youth by his side, and he was almost ready this year. I wonder if he would have just waited and healed up 100% this year he could have been ready now or at best next season. We can always ask this question 2-3 years from now, its too early to judge and say his career is done.

Pretty simple really, he's blown out the same knee three times.

What started out as a promise unfortunately due to injuries, really he has a lot of talent but not enough healthy to stay that way and play!

He's only 26 years old, it COULD be possible his career is over but nothing is confirmed, give it time, give it A LOT OF TIME! You can only write a post after a persons NFL career is over officially.
