Tight end extravaganza here. Some highly rated big boys. 3 of the top 5 in that Ucla/Stanford game.

Big time. Im a fan of Fauria if we want a redzone TE. Doesn't block too much.
Just wait for the list of the SEC Title game. I might start it tonight just to have enough time!

Seriously. We could almost send our scout to that game alone and say "plan our draft" and I would be perfectly fine with that.

You really could.
And unlike most years, not an exaggeration.

Not a real comparison IMO. Generalized down to it, sure. But Fauria is more Antonio Gates than Chase Coffman. Neither guy blocks well but one of them isn't soft.

Times and channels usually help in threads such as these.

WTS I look forward to watching Barr he's really been getting after the QB this year and Stephan Taylor is becoming more and more interesting. He looks to be a 3 down back that excels in blocking. Also appears to be a threat out of the backfield. I've read his biggest weakness is the lack of a 1st move. Be interesting to watch as he may earn a spot in a bfine mock very soon.

Barr looks lost in space sometimes. I wonder about his transition to a 4-3.
He is a stud off the edge no doubt but at 238 lbs, he might just be best off as a 3-4 LB.

Right, he was just a 6'6" pass catching TE freak of nature that was amazing in the red zone, but couldn't block. Coffman also still holds the NCAA record for catches by a TE... I don't like TE's that can't block and are one dimensional...can you tell?

Just surpassed MJD for all time yards at UCLA.

With how well Chase Thomas has played throughout his career and this year especially, it would be a miracle if he made it to our 2B pick. If he's there with 2B, you take him. Heck, I'd take him with 2A. If Thomas isn't available when we pick in 2A, go after Hodges from PSU with 2B or 3 for our SAM.

Also, Jetski Franklin is looking pretty awesome against the second-most physical defense in the NCAA.

I really like Franklin. He'll be a really good NFL RB. Has a good burst between the tackles and can break the long runs.

He has shown good speed and vision tonight.
Probably needs to add 5-10 pounds but has shown good durability considering that he has been a starter for all 4 years.
Started 8 games as a freshman!

I'd like him on our team regardless, big time playmaker and the ESPN analysts said tonight at the start of the show he ran a 4.21 40.

1. Johnathon Franklin had a HUGE game tonight. Really helped his stock. Showed his speed for sure. The slick field certainly didn't help.

2. Chase Thomas is a smart player who relies on effort. Not a lot of Explosion rushing the QB.
