Default Cut Sanu's fat overweight ***!

Stress fracture in his foot?

We all know that is caused by being fat and out of shape!

At least that's what people told me when Andre Smith hurt his foot.

Apparently you didnt see these boards when Andre Smith had a stress fracture his rookie year. This thread is basically for ppl who remember that well. He was called every name in the book including a bust (which was one of the nicer things he was called), because he had a fractured foot lol. And literally, some fans swore up and down that he fractured his foot because he was too fat and no other reason. Sadly those were probably the same people at one time whining because we didnt have big enough OLmen.....

....You're kidding right?

He's CLEARLY being sarcastic.

Andre Smith had a stress fracture in his foot his rookie or 2nd year (forget which) and rather than people thinking it was an unfortunate accident, like they do in this situation, everyone just said he was a fat, out of shape bum and a waste of a pick.

He's making a point.

One that you definitely missed.

I said it about Smith and I will say it again. He was horribly out of shape for his man-boob pro day. He held out and missed all of training camp and three preseason games, finally came in at something over 360 - the Bengals never did say what he weighed - then fractured, not a stress fracture, fractured his foot in his second day of non-contact drills. I still think it was because he did nothing until he signed, the Bengals ramped him up too quickly, then - crack.

Sanu has practiced and played all year and unfortunately a stress factor occurred. Very different.

If you don't think being in shape, especially at the pro level, is important, let's look at Maualuga. He comes into the season, how the Bengals let this happen I don't know, at 365 and is crappy. Over the last 6 weeks he drops 20 pounds and somehow, by complete luck I guess, not because he is in better shape, he is playing considerably better. No correlation?
