+1 on Peerman, and I like the fact he is slowly getting more touches. He only seems to do really good things with the ball in his hands. He is a Hybrid BJGE, Leonard, Scott.....He has good size, he has the will, and he has some moves.

I have no problem with BJGE I just don't want him as a our number 1 back even after his 2 big games I would love to have a legit #1 and him as a short yardage back and peerman as change of pace back for both and I would let Leonard go because he's been invisible. I know he hasn't had many chances with the ball but I think we have more than what he has to offer if we can get a RB that can do everything.

It was the Raiders run D. My grandmother could have got 100 yards on the Raiders D, and she has been dead for almost a decade.

The Chiefs Run D also is terrible.

When he does it against a good team, then it is time to reconsider getting a new RB. Till then he is still too slow.

P.S. Almost any RB takes the long run to the house, and doen't get run down, as the defender took a bad angle.

Rb is still a big need for next year. Law firm running wild this game does not remove the other games where he ****** ***.

I said it wasn't a "desperate" need if we keep it up. Never said RB suddenly shouldn't be a priority but no reasonable person would say we are in "desperate" need of an RB if we continue to string together 100 yard rushing games (doubtful but that's beside the point). Also I don't give a damn who it was. Back to back 100 yard rushing games are nothing to scoff at.

A good run game against two of the worst defenses in the league doesn't do much for me. I'm glad they showed they can perform against poor run defense cuz it would be like, even worse if they didn't but still. I want a shiny corvette in the backfield next year please. We have our LT, QB and WR, give us a RB and we're legit SB contenders with even a krappy defense, let alone the solid units Zimmer usually puts out there.

They're both running so well right now where neither of them deserve to win or lose a starting job over each other right now, at this point dont fix what isnt broke and stick to what works

Personally, I love having both of those guys play during the game because it gives Cincinnati a dual rushing threat like many of the great teams had. Look at the 1970s Steelers with Franco Harris and Rocky Bleier for a perfect example of this. The two running back scheme is something from the game's past I think would be perfect for the Bengals. Harris and Bleier, Green-Ellis and Peerman...I like the sound of this.

I could not agree with you more(not saying they are as good as Harris and Rocky as a one two punch). Ever since Peerman has been given more opportunities, Law Firm has shined. Remember Icky and Brooks???? And again, I am not saying that the Peerman and Law Firm tandem is as good as Icky and Brooks. But the evidence of how they have been using both running backs the past few weeks has got me thinking that this could be a solution. And a darn good one since Gruden runs the West Coast Offense. I like Peerman, alot. Hopefully this can be the future of a two headed monster in Cincinnati!

Remember Kevin Mack and Ernest Byner???

(Ernest Byner was the man though. He got a bad rap. Mack wasn't as good without Byner)

Sorry but the oline is the key to our run game. BGJE does not have the ability to make quick enough cuts to get to the outside and not enough power to run through the tackles (without help for the oline).


Peerman is a better overall rb. We need to draft some1 in the 2nd or 3rd.
