I can't rip you too hard on this subject Mikey. I am on my third liver, and I had to buy this last one on the black market (they have strict rules regarding getting seconds on the transplant list before everyone else has gotten at least one).

I am not sure where it came from, but I think I may have made a mistake trying to save a few bucks by taking the cheapest one they had. All I know is that shortly after the transplant I developed a bright red distended annus and a craving for bananas.

Okay, I'm not even certain how much of this is true, and how much isn't. I just know I have a really bad image of you in my head now.

Pigs do not perspire. That is why they have to lay around in mud all the time too keep cool.

In all seriousness, Rumble Cat, you're going to be fine and I'm going to get a little personal on here but it's going to help you understand that you're going to make it. While I've never had anything done to my iliac artery, I do have a replaced thoracic aorta and I've lived with it for the majority of my life. In fact, there is a 10 cm long section of my aorta which was replaced with a woven Dacron cylindrical graft. Surgeries like mine and yours are serious but they are performed somewhere every day by experienced doctors.

In fact, you'll have an easier time with things than I did because my operation was over 30 years ago when anesthesia came with a whole poopstorm of side effects and there was no such thing as robotic surgery. Today's anesthesia is terrific -- I was put under in 2007 when my broken L5 vertebra was surgically repaired -- and there are no side effects like I experienced over 30 years ago.

This is serious but you'll be back here posting very soon. Also, if you think about it, maybe the other part of the pig will be made into the very NFL football which Andy Dalton uses to throw the winning touchdown to AJ Green in the Super Bowl.

This is an acceptable trade off, imo. Mikey grows a curly little tail and the Bengals win the SB.

I think they use pig veins because they're the most similar to human ones.

Thanks man. I'm not too worried. I'll know more in a week or so, but I'm not afraid of dying, and apparently, I'm indestructable.

lol @ Dalton passing a TD to Green with the rest of my artery donor pig!
