Default List of which teams we need to root for and against to help us...

I know we need to root against the Colts and Steelers and obviously root for their opponent, but what other teams can help us by winning or by losing?

Playoff Bound!

We need to root for the Chargers to lose.

You don't to root for or against anybody except for rooting for the Bengals. They control their own destiny. Win out and they are in. Simple as that.

Bengals need to win, Colts and Steelers need to lose. That's the list.

Root for Detroit and *shudder* Baltimore.

Forget the teams behind us, and forget the division winners; we have no real shot at the division, and if teams below us are gunna catch us, then we can call it a season anyways.

Only exception to that maybe, is if we and the Steelers lose today, the Chargers are maybe back in it (with a tough schedule though).

But ultimately, Bengals winning out is all that matters, and a few Steelers/Colts losses wouldn't go a miss either.

It's not rocket science. Root for the Lions, Ravens, Pats, and Browns today.

Lions should beat Colts today. Luck stinks in road games (4 tds, 10 ints in 5 games).

The Colts also still have to play the Texans twice. If the Steelers get Ben back soon it is possible that the AFC North could send three teams to the playoffs again.

Why do we need to root for the browns? They play the raiders?

Better draft pick for us. Raiders need to lose out.

Ahh ok then. I thought he meant it would impact our playoff chances, but that makes sense.

Agree. We should also root for the Texans and Chargers in the future. Two losses for Indy, a loss for Pittsburgh, and better SOV for us.

Also Cleveland for another Pitt loss and the SOS/SOV thing again.

Default Cowboys

Whats better for us?
Should we root for the eagles and host them after a loss?

Or maybe an over confident team?

Root for Ravens to lose out which is a realistic possibility at redskins vs giants vs broncos at bengals.

If the Bengals win out

then Ravens only have to lose 2 of 3 to Washington, Giants, and Broncos

We have to win out to win division

Broncos and Giants will beat them. Charlie freaking Batch beat them today. I think the Mannings will shred them.

the Eagles are in Tampa Bay next Sunday, if anything that game would do more damage to them for the Bengals than this game would, Dallas has the Bengals next week, any damage to them tonight would impact them for the Bengals next week

The Cowboys will crumble if they lose to Philly.
