I hope so, he has made a few bad decisions the last few weeks on returns where he should of taken a knee, instead he returns the ball and puts the offense in a hole..

I am pretty sure that Tate is Marvins secret love child...that is the only way to explain how he is still returning punts and kicks (when constantly returning them from 7+ yards deep)

Tate has the 6th best average in the NFL of all KRs that have had at least 20 attempts. I agree Adam should be the primary PR, but Tate is our best option at KR.

Truthfully the only time I had worries or held my breath this game was when he was back for a return. He seems to likely to cough one up at the wrong time to give up an easy TD. He's not good enough to be holding down the roster spot in my opinion. Let him go, no value here.

He's the first return guy I've seen ticked off when the kick is clearly going out of the back of the endzone.

Tate should not be taking unecessary chances that most KRs would not take.

There is one good thing about Brandon Tate I've heard Marvin Lewis say: He is a terrific downfield blocker. While I think that's very nice, Brandon isn't doing any blocking when he's carrying the ball. I've wondered if he may have a depth perception problem and because of it he may not realize how deep in the end zone he is when he returns some of those kicks. If the ball was still being kicked from the 30 yard line then yes, returning a deep kick makes more sense but now that the defense has a five yard head start with kicks initiating at the 35 yard line, just taking a knee is more logical.

He Has Value ..I'm just not sure in what for this team it may be.. His decision making has been pizz poor 2 yrs running I agree 100%
