Default Break up the Glee Club... Gotta Love it!

I'm sure the dwindling number of anti-Marvin Lewis members will 'still' hate on him. Regardless, (practically) Everyone has gotta love his "..Break up the Glee Club..." message.

Er, I'm kinda sure that the 'BLACK' - slapping was a typo...not a direct quote by Coach Lewis. I kinda assume BACK-Slapping.

i do so love his saying that to his team.they really haven't done ANYTHING YET!! if and when they beat the stoolers at their place, then and only then can they slap each other around.that, my friends will be the biggest win in franchise history, IF OF COURSE, it happens.marvin is trying to keep them grounded and focused on each task at hand. the cowdudes will be a tough tough game, as they need the game as bad as we do, and they will be playing really hard. i think its time to take a romo out of the game. what say you guys????

That or racial profiling. Not sure which. Maybe it's a new hazing ritual?

I believe that it is reference to Maualuga slapping Phillip Rivers on the butt after Rivers scrambled for a first. I first watched Rey jog over half halfheartedly towards Rivers, then I saw him give Rivers a 'good job'. I was like gosh dang it man... play angry!

I say "Tony Romo meet Geno Atkins." Guaranteed diaper change before the half.

So was it a "Good play, man!" or a "Keep doing that and we're going to spank you hard, dude!"?

I used to be pretty big anti-Marvin, however I've mellowed to *some* degree.

My main problem is his in game decision making is really suspect a lot of the time, most notably his late game clock management over the years has been often infuriating.

However, as we all know there's a lot more to coaching an NFL team than that, he's good at fielding a competitive team that gels for the most part, has a good eye for talent, and he does seem to be a good "coach" for the players as they respect him as a football mind and leader.

But man, can he get some help with the clock? Oi..

As Andy would say, "Yes Sir!" I absolutely love it. Recall that Lewis was quoted as saying players on the '05 team thought they had arrived, then failed to make the playoffs the following season. Keep them in check Marv!

I know there is a joke about the flavor of the iced tea, but I just can't come up with it...

Only if it could be proven that it was racially motivated.

It was a "good play, I'm a bum and jogged over to you and let you get the first down." type of slap.

i do not personally hate old marvin. i just dislike all of the nati coaches as none of them have ever gotten a superbowl win and thats all i want. until then, i am not happy with any of them, and yes it is so hard to get to the superbowl, but the stinkin stoolers have done it 8 times and won 6 of them. think about that stat. its crazy really!!! all i want is one in my lifetime.winning is so wonderful and all that, but to win the big one, now thats the real deal to me.
