The Charger defense would be a top-10 defense if the offense wasn't continually putting them behind the 8-ball. Between turnovers, sacks and a general inability to move the ball this defense wears down in the second half due to being on the field too long.

People were ripping Palmer because he was putting up that stat line more often (from 2008-10) than what Dalton is right now. Plus he was not putting up the production that Dalton is this year. Dalton is on pace for 4k yards and 36 total touchdowns. That makes a couple picks (one completely on Marvin Jones) easier to forgive.

Just saying Dalton added to the issue with a pair of INT's and a pick 6. People rode that pick 6 monicker with Palmer all the time. Why is Dalton getting a pass, unless maybe his numbers are so much lower?

I don't mean at all to turn this into Dalton vs. Palmer, but simply pointing out a little hypocrisy of some, not necessarily you though.

I'm going to also agree that a west coast trip has traditionally been the kiss of death for this team. You lose 3 hours of time making the trip, and I've done that enough to know it really messes with my equilibrium and sleep schedule. I went to the game expecting them to play at about 80% their capability and that's what I saw. Remember losing to Bruce Gradkowski's Raiders a few years ago? We're getting better.

Palmer wouldn't have rushed for that TD to put us on top with 4 minutes left. I said in another thread that the highlight doesn't do it justice. I saw it live, only about 20 yards away, and he made so many decisions in about a seconds time. It was unbelievable, and he was across the goal line before most of the defense realized he was rushing.
