Sidetracking is not remaining on point. Still waiting for a reference for overall numbers. Think the lack of "volunteers" suggests that Dalton is near the head of the pack. But just a guess. Love to see numbers refuting it...

I was more concerned about an aging veteran QB (Palmer) throwing int's than a QB in his sophomore year, who was also 5th in the league in TDs thrown going into Sunday's game...

Anyways sad that there is more of a negative vibe it seems about Dalton as opposed to positive ones from the fanbase..Smmfh.

I think you're kind of missing the point.

He's taking shots at the people who claim that Carson's best signature move is the pick six, and how many people ALWAYS bagged Carson for throwing pick sixes. It's a little ironic that Dalton has tossed so many.

When Dalton leads us to as many playoffs in his first 2 years as Carson in his whole career, I'll revisit this thread. Until then, keep trying your hardest to highlight a negative aspect of our starting QB.

Sorry, I'll gladly take an extra pick 6 for all that extra production. Dalton is also playing WAY better than Palmer did in 2010 (when he threw 5 pick 6's).

So you use Palmer's stats from this season, but compare Dalton to 2010 Palmer? How does this address the pick 6 race of 2012?


In fact, I didn't pose this as a QB issue, but as a coaching issue, as it is something that has plagued the Bengals. You referencing a past Palmer with the Bengals only reinforces that point.

In addition, did your projections take into account the teams left on the schedule, as the Bengals will face the Ravens and Steelers, so might not be the same as what the Raiders have waiting?

I was saying that Dalton is playing much better than this year AND Palmer's 2010 year. I can't find a website that specifically lists pick 6's for each QB in the NFL. I do know that Dalton has 4 and Palmer has 3. I would imagine that four pick 6's would be near the top, although considering 16 QBs have at least 10 picks, I would imagine that a few of those have several pick 6's. Not really sure where you're going with this. Are you trying to bash Marvin Lewis or are you saying Palmer > Dalton?

Well, I believe Dalton only threw 1 his rookie year, IIRC (versus Buffalo).

Doesn't matter because we are winning?

Seriously folks, if I would have told you before the season started that Carson was going to throw more passes and yet less picks than Andy (well, they are equal now, but unless Andy goes 92 passes without an INT I'll have a point!) would you have taken that bet? I can't help but find this stuff surprising, if not semi-alarming. Ehh, who cares, we're 7-5 I guess.
