It's four ... first game against Baltimore, early in the Washington game, 4th quarter of Browns loss and yesterday versus the Charger.
When did the Kirkpatrick pick-six happen!? Last edited by Ryan Mc; 12-03-2012 at 09:44 PM. |

Andy Dalton 13 INTs (2 of which were pick 6s)
Carson Palmer 20 TD 13 INTs (not sure how many pick 6s, but one was to Dre Kirkpatrick when he played us) And oh, by the way, Palmer lost 4 fumbles compared to Dalton's 2. And just for fun: Drew Brees 30 TDs 16 INTs (again, not sure how many pick 6s, but he threw two against the 49ers) and 1 fumble. Please try and remain on point. The issue is Dalton and his habit of tossing pick 6's this season. Sidetracking is not remaining on point. Still waiting for a reference for overall numbers. Think the lack of "volunteers" suggests that Dalton is near the head of the pack. But just a guess. Love to see numbers refuting it...

The difference is this: Whenever Andy Dalton throws a pick-six he still finds a way to win the game. Carson Palmer was wholly incapable of this.

It didn't.
So many fans on here were so sure it was going to happen, some of them must have dreamed one up. ![]()

Hey, me and CP9 do have something in common.
FWIW looks like the Carson Cavalry are quickly becoming the Dalton Defenders ![]() |

I was more concerned about an aging veteran QB (Palmer) throwing int's than a QB in his sophomore year, who was also 5th in the league in TDs thrown going into Sunday's game...
Anyways sad that there is more of a negative vibe it seems about Dalton as opposed to positive ones from the fanbase..Smmfh.

It didn't. The only pick Palmer threw was to Crocker.

Your pick 6 argument is irrelevant. If you would like to compare current Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton and current OAKLAND RAIDERS quarterback go right ahead. Here's the link for total QBR which factor in plenty of "relevant" stats for you.
And oh by the way besides the fact Dalton is ranked 7 spots ahead of Palmer, he also has 4 more wins. Who DEY http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/pl...rterbackRating |

He's taking shots at the people who claim that Carson's best signature move is the pick six, and how many people ALWAYS bagged Carson for throwing pick sixes. It's a little ironic that Dalton has tossed so many. |

It seems the excuse squad is in full force...
Tons of misdirection but few tackling the fact, that Dalton is a pick 6 machine.

He has also thrown a ton of TDs, but I guess that gets overlooked by old CP fans that hate to see the new guy off to a good start in his first two years.

When Dalton leads us to as many playoffs in his first 2 years as Carson in his whole career, I'll revisit this thread. Until then, keep trying your hardest to highlight a negative aspect of our starting QB.

Bengal Rugby:
Most of your football posts: well thought out and strong. Scratching this hard to complain about Dalton: weak. The continuing Black Jesus crap: weaker. It seems beneath you. |

Palmer has also thrown 92 more passes this season than Dalton, which amounts to almost 3 entire games worth of passes by Dalton's average.
So with a little math we see the following AD 413 passes = 34.41 passes per game CP 505 passes = 41.91 passes per game TDs AD 23 TDs = 1 per 17.95 passes CP 20 TDs = 1 per 25.15 passes INTs AD 13 INTs = 1 per 31.76 passes CP 13 INTs = 1 per 38.69 passes Pick 6s AD 4 Pick 6s = 103.25 passes CP 3 Pick 6s = 168.33 passes Ok, so looking at this I see Andy has thrown more TDs than Carson in less passes but he's thrown more INTs and more Pick 6s in less passes as well. Carson has thrown what equates to 15 games worth of passes by Andy Dalton standards and yet he still has less INTs and less Pick 6s. Is that strange? Troubling? Doesn't matter because we are winning? Seriously folks, if I would have told you before the season started that Carson was going to throw more passes and yet less picks than Andy (well, they are equal now, but unless Andy goes 92 passes without an INT I'll have a point!) would you have taken that bet? I can't help but find this stuff surprising, if not semi-alarming. Ehh, who cares, we're 7-5 I guess.
