The ravens just lost to the Steelers and have to play the red hot Redskins in their house who have won 3 in a row. The next week they take on Peyton Manning's Bronco's who will be on an 8 game win streak after thumping the Raiders. The week after that they will have to play the defending super bowl champs who always finish strong and finally, they have to play us at home where we will be waiting for them with our 7-game win streak.

If the Ratbirds and Stoolers could both lose out and both miss the playoffs, I would be a very happy Bengals fan.

Suggs is hurt with a torn bicep. It's not known how much time he'll miss, if any. But he won't be full strength. That doesn't help Balt.
Also, the Redskins beat the Giants. Ravens have to go to DC to take on RGIII. Could be a loss. And you know San Diego is due to win one. Hopefully this week vs the Steelers. Bengals have to focus on Dallas though. Last edited by Shady; 12-04-2012 at 08:34 AM. |

Torn bicep takes a while to heal. Would still be great to see the opposing retorts to this thread.

With this type of season, it only makes sense that Cincy is in 3rd place...2 games back and if they take care of business against the Ravens and Steelers they'll either be loosing a crappy tie breaker and sitting at home or winning the division and playing at home.

I just want Flacco to get a taste of our defensive line as it is now. Healthy and warmed up. I think its going to be a lot different game the next time we play them. I hope we bury Flacco into the dirt all day long.

I sure hope so, but ravens are one of that teams you should never count out in any game.

Absolutely....And I want Flacco to be sacked so many times he starts crapping canned corn. I want his jersey so full of dirt we can plant tomatoes on his back. I want him tapping his helmet after every play, begging to come out of the game. WHO DEY!!

This last month is going to be very interesting in our division. Ravens are starting to lose ground and Steelers will be very tough down the stretch if they get Big Ben back. We just have to keep winning games and hopefully get a win against the Ravens or Steelers.

Because if not them losing is not a good thing. But it might give us a crack at them in round 1 of the playoffs. At this point the Ravens or the Steelers are in the playoffs other than the colts and bengals no other team is close one of them will make it.

The Ravens have been very bad on the road all year (lost to Eagles, Lost by 30 to Texans, and beat three weak teams by only 3 points Chiefs, Brown, Chargers). So I have always felt we have a good chance to beat them here at PBS.
But their loss Sunday at home to the Steelers without Ben was a big shocker. I don't know if it is a good sign that the Ravens are weak or a bad sign that the Steelers are strong. Either way I think we should still beat them both. Last edited by fredtoast; 12-04-2012 at 11:09 AM. |

As a Bengals fan, I have much respect for both great defenses of the Steelers and Ravens, because we all know how good they have been. They have had one hell of a run, but now, it feels soooooooooo DAMN good to look at our defense and see how good they are and how young they are. As the Steelers and Ravens begin to lose their defensive edge, we get to step back and look at one hell of a defense that is on the rise with a bunch of young and hungry players!!!

Have to give the Ravens and Steelers props. With all of the injuries they've had, they are both still holding it together.
The equivalent injuries on the Bengals would be us losing Atkins, Hall, and Dunlap on our defense. We'd be totally devastated if that happened. I think the Ravens will run out of steam though. |

It's a great post for this forum because it means the Bengals actually have a slight chance of taking the division.

Definately possible. The Ravens have been less than impressive lately to say the least and i could not believe they could lose to Batch. All the teams they play like you said are hot at this time. They will not beat us that is all i know.

Well man, I can see what you're saying, in terms of our own fans morale bouncing back a bit. But, the Bengals are still having to count on other teams to win games for them, in order to be able to win the division. While its fun to sit here in the sanctitiy of the peaceful surrounding of Jungle Noise and predict that the division leader is going to have a complete collapse to end the season and all. I just think that it would have been much more appropriate, and sporting, to post this in the Smack Forum, so we could get some Ravens' fans input on the situation as well.

I was looking at that and thinking it's very possible for them to lose out but I also think the Steelers could very easily win out (besides for us), so we need to take care of business and not count on other teams losing to get us into the playoffs because that gives us no momentum.
Plus, remember '06 when we only needed to win one of our last three to get into the playoffs and we couldn't do it? We just need to handle our business and not worry about anybody else. Will Rey be back to full strength? Suggs out will also hurt. We need to win out and we're in regardless, but, if the Ravens happen to lose a few and we can get home field advantage, you'd have to love our momentum and potential in PBS. Focus on the Cowboys first, though.
