Honestly, this year's field is wide open. It's hard for me to justify UK being #3 after losing their top 6 in the rotation and their 7th guy returns with the same defensive issues. Still, this team is talented and the way Cal coaches...They should be hell come March.

Indiana was ranked #1 for this season after they all said they were coming back. No shocker there.

It's really great to see meaningful basketball in Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana once again. It was just a few years ago IU & UK were falling off the map and UC disapeared altogether.

Oh, and I have: NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

Just bought me a Harrow/Knight #12 jersey (Knight is my favorite Cat under Cal) Can't wait for it to come... flying to Carolina (then to Jamaica) on Saturday. Going to be sporting either that or one of my other jerseys.

Not a Buckeye fan, but they sure got homered last night by the refs., especially in the first half.

I've always had a soft spot for VCU since Capel brought success to that program,pre-ncaa tourney matchup. You guys always play us tough. Coach K knows what he's talking about,very solid,respectable program as usual.

Who cares if were ranked. This ain't f'n college football where you can be voted champion based off your ranking. There's a tournament at the end of the season where games are played and a champion is determined legitimately (I'm talking to you OSU) .... Kentucky could go unranked all year long as long as we improve, which we aren't doing right now, and make a run in March.

This team is YOUNG. We damn near beat a Duke, who's all upperclassman, without Ryan Harrow. I'll take that. Today we couldn't his water if we fell out of a boat. This team could be scary come March but right now it needs a lot of tuning.

Harrow got some minutes towards the end of the game today and I like what I was seeing. He showed brief glimpse of what we need. A facilitator and a distributor. If Harrow turns it around and becomes the point guard we all know he can be then watch out.

It's easy to kick us while were down. But I didn't here anyone talking last year and I definitely won't be hearing anyone talk NEXT YEAR when we will CERTAINLY win it all again. I don't know what happens this year. But next year we're national champions again. Might as well not even play the season and just hang the 2014 banner.
