Nonsense. Acting like the seasons over after a win streak is not the sign of a fan base with high standards (especially considering they have no confidence in beating us). It's what happens when a team like the cowboys (much like the Bengals) continually comes up short and fails to compete or take the next step from year to year.

Dez Braynt is one of the hottest WR the last couple of weeks and this secondary cant let him loose. Leon and Adam needs to shut him down early and often. I think our front four should be able to get to Romo pretty consistently, and I am not conserned about the Dallas run game. Dallas have not been really good at stopping the run this year, so I am thinking with a steady dose of BJGE, Bengals should roll to a two score + victory. Who Dey!!!

I don't see it that way, but fair enough.

I see them as fans who want to improve despite winning. Here, one poster made one slightly negative remark about ONE play where Green missed a block and he gets crucified. And obviously Dalton is off limits to any criticism at all whatsoever.

But I see your point. Maybe I'm conflating higher expectations with hopeless despair.

I don't understand what you're implying here. Are you saying there is no room for improvement on a 7-5 team? Are you saying we should forgive any and every mistake because the end result was a win? Are you saying that I somehow said we should bench Dalton for throwing an incompletion?
