The Atkins / Livings matchup will be funny to watch !

Nice to see you back Nate but I'm afraid Romo won't like it much !

bengals Re: Cowboy Fan Predictions

They should be a little worried about our D-line against their O-line.

And Newman has been better under Zimmer than he was in Dallas, much better.

They have some damn good receiving threats though in Bryant, Austin and Whitten.

We will have to keep Romo in the pocket and cover and we should win this game.

I don't know what they've put up, but I know none of them were Witten. He gets receptions against solid coverage which the Bengals don't have.

Except we were in the midst of a losing streak when we were down on the team. They're actually winning and sound like us when the team was losing lol.

Which kind of shows what fans of other teams expect. We're sky high being 7-5 and they're sky-falling being 6-6.

I hope in a few years that these young players bring us to the same level of expectations. But for now, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!

Maybe they should check this head to head comparison with Newman and their best corner.

Gates is better.

Moeaki on par as a receiver.

Myers is Carsone's #1 target.

How did they all do? Stop the damn doom and gloom bs.

Nonsense. Acting like the seasons over after a win streak is not the sign of a fan base with high standards (especially considering they have no confidence in beating us). It's what happens when a team like the cowboys (much like the Bengals) continually comes up short and fails to compete or take the next step from year to year.

Soooooooo familiar:

Quote:
There are literally no surprises with this team.

Play not to lose. Get behind, rely on Romo, and then let the other team back in the game by playing not to lose.

Or the other game-plan, which is get embarrassed start to finish.
I think we can relate.

Dez Braynt is one of the hottest WR the last couple of weeks and this secondary cant let him loose. Leon and Adam needs to shut him down early and often. I think our front four should be able to get to Romo pretty consistently, and I am not conserned about the Dallas run game. Dallas have not been really good at stopping the run this year, so I am thinking with a steady dose of BJGE, Bengals should roll to a two score + victory. Who Dey!!!

Cowboys 17

Bengals 31

I don't see it that way, but fair enough.

I see them as fans who want to improve despite winning. Here, one poster made one slightly negative remark about ONE play where Green missed a block and he gets crucified. And obviously Dalton is off limits to any criticism at all whatsoever.

But I see your point. Maybe I'm conflating higher expectations with hopeless despair.

I don't understand what you're implying here. Are you saying there is no room for improvement on a 7-5 team? Are you saying we should forgive any and every mistake because the end result was a win? Are you saying that I somehow said we should bench Dalton for throwing an incompletion?

Quote from a cowboys fan "Honestly, I fear for Romo's health in those two games."

Made me chuckle lol
